Off the top of my head ...

Pros:
Cheap to buy
Cheap to repair
Cheaper taxes (usually)
Moveable
Standard sizes on most parts (like doors, sinks ect..)
Newer ones are easy to heat
Cheap utilities
Easy to clean
Easy to build on new rooms

Cons:
Value deteriorates quickly.
Harder to get a loan for them.
Thin walls. Less privacy.
Cheap made - fall apart
Harder to customize things - you can not hang nails in the wall like you would a real wall
Can not take abuse - trim, walls, windows -- all cheesy made
Severe weather can be scary
No basement
Cheap made plastic sinks & tubs crack, brake, and look ugly quicker then porcelain
Pressed paperboard crap rots around windows
One leak and you can loose a ceiling, wall, and floor easy
Must be weatherized yearly
Keeping it looking nice through the years gets harder and harder

Even if they are the most modern and updated of all mobile homes the biggest con is they depreciate in value. They are basically like cars. I wouldn't buy one unless I plan on taking a loss on it or could pay cash! If you finance it you will lose your shirt in the end.

Pros: easy to cleam wall, since they're pretty much plastic type material.
There can a lot of pros depending on who you buy it from.
For instance mine has a fire place.

Cons are: bugs can enter easy, severe weather can be bad, and you have to have the phone company install a phone jack and run lines in order to get a phone line - same with cable.

The main change other than space between the two is in the bathroom. Let me simpally say that running out of hot water is not fun. Other than getting used to the space it is not a bad lifestyle.
