how many stars can you see at night?

its dark now and i cant see any. we had a clear sky all day so no clouds.i used to watch the stars as a child. these days or nights children will never see them

it's safer to travel by plane than any other mode of travel. Is this because the plane is least likely to crash than any other mode, or because the odds of surviving a plane crash are higher than any other mode of travel?

Seems to me that the odds of survival in a plane crash are usually pretty slim.

Who else hates taking showers?

I really hate them. It's such an unavoidable and long process. I hate them, yet I hate being greasy.

I dread them. When I wake up in the morning... the first thing i think is "oh great time for an effin shower."

I try the night showers.. but I am just so tired when I get home I just cannot bring myself to do "the process."

how do you connect other systems to a wireless network with a belkin router?

my belkin router will not allow me to connect my PS3 or Xbox360 to the internet. it can find the IP address when the WEP key is entered but cannot find the DNS or internet connection...help !!

Is this person stupid??A couple brought there not even year old child to Spider Man 3,and sat right behind me.

I just got back from watching spider man 3 and a couple sat behind me with a there 1 year old baby cant walk,cant talk,still drools and makes annoying sounds.the husband was quite before,during,and after the movie.but the wife really got on me and my friends nerves.Before it started she started going quack quack quack.For like 10 minutes nonstop and when it started it got worse.For the first 30 minutes the baby kept making sounds with his mouth like humming and spitting at the same time.after that the lady started talking to the baby.OMG.I felt like saying something,and so did my friends.and we all thought the same thing.Who brings a lil baby to a spider man movie.I mean ya it sounds a lil harsh but if you were ther youd kinda think the same thing.

should this be considered "very annoying"I cant wait to see what everyone has to say.

For children of alcoholics: as a child, was it better to have alcoholic living with you or away?

My husband gradually became a bad alcholic over the years. We've been separated 6 months & he asks to come home. I asked him to leave if he wouldn't give up drinking & he chose to leave.
Here is my question: We have a 3 1/2 yr old son who adores his daddy. My husband is very good with him, BUT can't be trusted to not drink while caring for him. I have to supervise when hubby interacts with our son.
Part of me wants to let him come home & be in my son's life, but I think this could be bad for my son. I don't want him growing up in an alcoholic home. My husband's mother was a disgusting drunk & he really resents that his father never kicked her out!
If you have an alcoholic parent, are you glad this parent lived with you (or didn't live with you) & which would have been best for you in the long run? I want to know how my son might feel about my decision to refuse to let my husband come home.
Hubby is verbally abusive to me, but not physically abusive. He's NEVER mean to our son.
