To me it is afiliation with Satans Secret Underworld Society 666. Hay check that out would you. "Satans Secret Society" "666" sounds alike doesnt it? I thought old George bush was going to start flashing his sign around up there also. I've seen pictures of him and his wife flashing that sign New World Order. When he talks about God what "God" is he talking about?

Some people have lived here 25 years because our government let them by not enforcing our laws. What is a good solution? Should we deport anyone with criminal records but allow people who have lived here over 5 years to stay? Should we kick them all out and build a wall? I've been in the SCA for almost 3 years. I fight, dance, weave, my garb is looking pretty decent and my historical knowledge is enough that I frequently don't feel like a total moron in conversation with other members. Every time I think I've chosen a persona name/country/century somebody mentions something about it that I decide I can't live with. I think I've settled on being Hungarian, named Amelia Zrinyi, around the time of the Austro-Hungarian empire.

OK, let's ASSUME that all of the illegals are paying taxes (unlikely, but I always give the benefit of the doubt). So, we will pay to, say, jail anyone who hires or rents to an illegal immigrant, and put all illegals either in jail (preferred) or back to their country. We will lose all of the taxes that they are "paying", and the price of produce and other goods will go up, but won't those price raises be insignificant?

After all, the minimum wage is being raised soon, so the prices will jump anyway.

Plus, along with jailing all illegal immigrants, we will have to (or we should, I believe) provide those who WANT to come here legally work visas that are easier to obtain. That is more paperwork to pay for, more people to enforce the laws, etc.

Now, technically, health care costs will go down, but I'm giving the benefit of the doubt, remember?

So, prices and taxes will go up when all of this goes down. Are you willing to pay extra for our laws to actually be enforced?

I live with a man. We're not married. We have a 2 year old child and I am a stay at home mom with no money set aside. I am considering leaving him but haven't 100% made up my mind yet. I (we) have a lot of issues to try to work through. I am almost $10,000 in debt, mostly due to living expences and home repairs. The home isn't even in my name but he asked me to put things on my card. He gives me some spending money and pays some on the bills each month. My question...If I decide to leave, what do I do? I have no friends. My family lives in another state. BTW, I am 39 years old so moving home with mom or dad really isn't an option. How do I put myself in a position where I can take care of me and my child so I don't have to worry about him taking her away due to my inability to care for her? My previous jobs were in the bar/club industry and retail. He has offered to put me through school next spring. He doesn't know that I am thinking about leaving. I haven't told him yet.

ok, i know the parts, the father, son, and holy spirit. but what do each consist of? isn't god the father a spirit? if so, then aren't the father and the holy spirit one? so why classify them as being two separate entities. and is the son referring to jesus in the flesh, or is it just referring to his spirit as well? those who claim he ascended into heaven claim they saw his body leave. that would imply that jesus is still flesh, wouldn't it? then why can't we actually see him? and how can he be everywhere at once? the thing that makes the least sense about the trinity is the fact that people insist it's all making up one god. can anyone explain to me how this is possible. here's my limited understanding of christian theology and let me know where i'm going wrong with this.

1. god is the creator of the universe
2. jesus is the son of god
3. jesus is god
4. the holy spirit is god
5. the father, the son, and the holy spirit make up the trinity
