How do you know your religion or any is correct? The only factual thing we have is written by people and people lie. How then do you know you haven't been lied to? That someone hasn't created this whole thing with organized religion to keep all of humanity in control, without order there would be chaos. Also, if this benevolent god is so caring and forgiving why does hell exsist? Instead of casting one of his most beloved angels into a firey pit of doom (since in theory he is after all, all powerful) wouldn't he have just stripped the angel of his powers? That is being the all loving god your religion says he is? I know it is beyond too many people to question their own religion because society, in today's world wants instant gratification with everything. No one wants to research anything and they believe what they're told at face value, no investigating of the possibility of anything else. To me the bible is just as archaic and mysterious as how to make fire is. Yes to cavemen this might have seemed like quite a remarkable and even god like creation and perhaps they even thanked god or their gods. However, now it's quite simple to us how fire works. Not to be snoody, but not everyone in the world will ever even hear of christianity....so therefore by your religion they are "doomed to hell", geez why then did god even put them on the earth if in his infinite wisdom he knew they'd never be exposed to christianity and therefore never (by the teachings of the religion) be saved? I'm willing to wager that this religion (as are many) were created to control the masses and prevent mob mentality and mass hysteria from happening. Why else do you thing an empire that initally oppressed this religion so heavily then backed it? Perhaps you can then explain why Rome is where the vatican is...hum some tie in to the Roman empire and it's support of this religion to control the population? They had a large empire to tame and droves of people, what can control people better than armies, better than kings even? Well I think a god would do it? However, since once again large amounts of people take everything for face value, christians and other religions for that matter will continue to believe what they're taught. Never questioning, always being controlled to some degree. For example, Islam is being used to control people into fighting, killing and dying. So what makes you think any religion is true and pure? The whole thing is corrupted, all of it. Whilest yes there maybe a God, I have no delusions of anything farther then perhaps at most not "intelligent design" but more likely "intelligent guidance".

I think that some have not the right information. True what you have said, BUT God being a Loving God as He IS, we will NOT see them and their reactions. There will BE NO Sorrow at His Return and we will NOT See or Hear the Crying and Lies being told to Him about how they lived their lives and Why they Rejected Him. ALL Tears and Sorrow will be Wiped away, and if we saw a Loved One being Sentenced to Perdition, (destroyed) God would NOT BE a Loving God. ALL Memories will be erased of them, Friends, Family, and whomever we know. It will be as we Never Knew them at all. This is Scriptural and if you would like some Bible Verses to help you Understand this please email me and I will be happy to do so.

I'm sure they'll be surprised. However, you shouldn't gloat since it is indicative of the sin of pride. By the way I am a Christian, and I think it is Christians who ask question like yours that make people think we are all smug SOBs. When if anything being a Christian should make you meek and humble even if you know you are right.

Uh-huh, ok -- your jesus has been "coming in glory" any day now for thousands of years...still waiting. And waiting. And waiting...

Can you imagine *your* reaction when you die, and find out there's no god, no heaven, no hell, in fact nothing at all? Oh, wait -- you will have ceased to exist, you won't HAVE a reaction! Ha ha! Now *that's* awesome. Enjoy your delusion while you can.

Peace.

Yes.. they will want to hide but they won't be able to... it will be pretty pathetic (not in a mean way, but pathetic as in sad).

Edit: I find it funny how some Christians are ashamed of saying atheists will go to hell. Jesus told us everything that will happen! There are no surprises... read the Bible. I guess they want to be liked by men. I don't care, I know what Jesus said and I'm not afraid to tell it.

Jesus wants us to make disciples. If someone refuses to be one, he cannot be saved, simple. It's the TRUTH, we are not being mean and it's not a threat . It's GOD'S WORD.

The atheists will be crying and begging God "Jesus" to save them and will be wondering why they did not listen to what we Christians had to tell them. No matter how much they beg God to forgive them, He's going to say "Sorry, it is far too late the change now." He's going to throw them into the fiery pits of Hell where they will spend eternity in screeching, agonizing pain. It will be the more excruciating pain they will ever endure. They will look at Satan and say "You lied to me, you deceited me and now I have to spend eternity without any of my friends and family." To the atheists "Hell is not a party place."

What a shitty thing to say! Jesus would not want you to be hurtful towards others. Athiests are not evil people and I am sure that they would be very pleased to see Jesus. Athiests need 'Proof' of God before believing and seeing Jesus would most probably be a great joy for them. The bible says 'Judge not lest ye be judged', remember? Guess not...

Hey... as a Christian, you shouldn't be happy about that... How can you find delight in the misery of so many non-believers. I have many non-believer friends... and some family too... I'm sure you do too... And I think your answer to your own question will change once you imagine their faces.
