Admit to Him that you're a sinner (we all are!) - Believe that He is the living Son of God - Confess to God who you are, who you've been, and how you need Him. Then tell people the Great News about Jesus! With God on your side, nobody can forever stand against you!

read John 3:16 .GOD sent his son JESUS so when we believe in JESUS we have eternal life.JESUS lived a sinless life and gave up his life as a sacrifice so we can be sin free. Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and
cleanse ur past with his blood.
With a simple prayer like above u can be saved.JESUS loves u and wants u to be saved.and u are with JESUS

I'm not so sure of what "being down with" means but it does sound like you'd rather be safe than sorry and that you have learnt that an once of prevention is worth more than a pound of cure! Good for you... as you have nothing to lose by doing the right thing which is all that you will ever find in getting to know your Bible better, which is the only book claiming divine inspiration on earth (means that Jesus used the Hebrew scriptures and quoted from them when he was teaching what his Father wanted from us and what He was all about and then, his own disciples wrote the essentials of what he did and said, especially for the 3 years after he began his earthly preaching before he was put to death because of the religious leaders of the time... The people on earth who understand this the most, whether we like it or not, are the ones that for centuries have been interested in getting away from the lies taught in worldly Churches with the man-made traditions and pagan beliefs, and opted instead to simply study the Scriptures... as opposed to being satified with the "milk" of the knowledge of God; they have gone deeper for the solid foods of that knowledge and do the best that they can to apply it daily so as to gain the very wisdom of God that leads to everlasting life as they live a life much more pleasing to Him that those who still practise idol worship, statues', images', and parrot-like prayers that He doesn't approve of as He wants to be worshipped only in "spirit and truth". John 4:24... To that effect and free of charge, you have the opportunity to request a bible study for as long as you'd like with any one Witness of your choice; just by going or calling the Kingdom Hall in your area and state your desire as you have done here... They'll be happy to study with you (2 girls or 2 guys (depending who wants to study!) Since you;re a girl, it would be 2 girls... and if it doesn't prove to be the greatest thing you ever did for yourself, I'll eat my shirt as it were; as the truth of the Bible is the real truth that not only sets us free from so many troubles and worries that this old world likes to bring on us, with its false beliefs, useless traditions (pagan origin and you'll get the proof of that!) as you study the Bible only one hour a week; wherever you want! (even in a park! or at home! alone or with your family and or friends!) that keep us in darkness and as poor as church rats as we have so many things to buy all of the time such as "X-Mas decorations, etc." that we don't have to do anymore once we find out the true origin of the times being celebrated in December which have to do with the S-U-N worship and not the S-O-N of God who wasn't born in the winter months at all... and so on and so on... It is so interesting to learn the real history of the things that really happened as opposed to being brain-washed by the small "g" god of 2 Corinthians 4:4 and John 8:44, and the school system of this world, that you will be forever grateful for even six months of studying the Sciptures and probably will want to go on forever as you realize the benefits that it procures you inside and out... in your heart, mind, soul and body!!! You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by accepting that offer that truly leads to really being of the side of the one who said that by the love that they have for each other you would recognize his followers on earth... and that only those who obey the commandment to get out of the Empire of False Religions (man-made, for sure! and this too you will find out by studying with the only people I know of, who follow the letter of his word to the "T"... Check it out for yourself and you'll see why!!! And in order for you to even consider this, you have to forget or ignore the garbage that we hear since birth about who these people are by those who don't have any interest of any of us learningthe truth as Satan, who is going around like a vicious lion seeks to have us all devoured by the ways and anxieties of this system of things, knowing that his time is real short; and that some of us will actually make it to the real life offered by the true God, who cannot lie (Titus 1:2; Hebrews 6:18; 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 20, 21; which he (Satan and his demons!) had the audacity to call a liar. To find out the truth about how this all came about and what the Kingdom we pray for in The Lord's Prayer is all about, and how simple it really all is, is an absolute gift from God (James 1:17 ) beyond compare and only those called by Him (John 6:44) have it in their hearts to search for it as for fine gold as you just did here... May the living true God (the Eternal Father in Heaven who always was, never died, and never will and who knew before you asked that you were going to and that someone like myself would be used to guide you in His holy direction in spite of the fact that my PC server has been totally disfunctional for the past three days... where I can't even send an e-mail to my best friend! but has made it possible for me to access this forum... which in itself is nothing short of a miracle! already) Yes! May that God, whose name is Yahweh in Hebrew (pronounced that from YHWH in the old testament!) and Jehovah in English! bless you for ever more and I look forward to meeting you one day as this is just one more of the real miracles that will become par for the course one day as we live forever and get enough time and pleasure to get to know all or our brothers and sisters from one end of the new world awaiting us all, to the other...
