I don't have any gravy. I have most of the condiments you put on a regular cold cut sandwich, but i've always had gravy on a hot sandwich, and i don't even have to stuff to make any.

I may have to let this one go to voting. I used several ideas. I grilled some onions, and while it was still hot, put a slice of american cheese on to melt. Toasted the bread and used ketchup and mayo ( okay really i used miracle which which i prefer over mayo, but really they are interchangeable). Would have loved tomatoes, but don't have any so i used Heinz. It was fabulous. I think next time i'll try the ranch instead of mayo.

Man, I agree with needing the gravy - but, try some Mao, lettuce and tomato. I personally would not want mustard nor catsup on Fried Steak, yuck.

Ranch dressing, garlic salt and pepper. Thinly sliced onion. A slice of cheese (your choice or what ever you have on hand). You can toast your bread and that offers a great taste also.

Nigel Slater does a quite solid steak sandwich: Steak panini with mustard mayonnaise a corpulent steak sandwich perked up with a mustard mayonnaise. i take advantage of tender Dijon or, when I can discover it, eco-friendly peppercorn mustard. attempt your community deli or nutrition corridor. serves 2 olive oil rump steak - 2 x 150g products, decrease skinny small ciabatta or small french sticks - 2 eco-friendly peppercorn Dijon mustard - 2-3 tsp solid high quality mayonnaise - 2 tbs rocket or watercress - a small bunch gently oil and season the steak with salt and black pepper then practice dinner on a warm grill or ridged grill pan. it is going to only desire a couple of minutes to shade on the exterior. Take it off even as that is nonetheless red contained in the middle and go away it to relax. decrease the bread in 0.5 lengthways and toast the decrease halves on one side. blend the mustard with the mayonnaise. spread the bottom piece of toasted bread with the mustard mayonnaise then pile with trimmed watercress and rocket leaves. position the steak on proper, pour over any juices which have accrued on the plate then proper with the 2d 0.5 of bread.

my husband takes cold chicken fried steak sandwiches in his lunch when we have leftovers. He likes white bread, miracle whip and a little mustard.
