I want to buy a sailboat...?

I want an inexpensive, easy to use, and durable sailboat. I am a beginner and want to buy a sailboat. I want to buy one that wont capsize very easily and is cheap. I want one that can sit 2-4 people. I also want to know the price if possible and where i could find one to buy in Jacksonville, Florida (if possible). Thanks!

Cruising during hurricaine season?

We are thinking of cruising out of NYC/Cape Liberty first week in September 2007. We've never cruised before, it'll be our 25 th anniversary and are on a strict budget due to college costs. Are we nuts?

Can someone previously married in a christian or COE church re marry in a catholic church. One person is divorced and the other has never been married but is a baptised catholic . Is this possible for them both to marry ??

Roommate abuse?I did not get enough answers?

am a young female grad; When I came to college I had to have roommate. My 1st was very nice, but she graduated,. My 2nd was a *****, I discovered she was a psycho and since I was new in the country I was afraid; she intimidated me, and she started doing weird stuff like having the radio high at 3 am, and shewas a racist and against other races/religions, especially Muslim. I suffered,and I had a post-traumatic diorder that was not severe; but I was experiencing things I never had in my life (peaceful) ...I imagined her coming to me at night , and saw her scary eyes in the dark, etc. I said this to my doctor. Then I was told police were suspecting her for having a gun, which I think is true, given her fundamentalit and crazy tendecies. It really aches me to go back to that dark episode of my life. I was alone.Then I moved with another American, which is generally nice but she has a possessive view of the house and asks me why I did that or this as if the house is hers! I am fed up

Help me save my ducklings, please?

I have a mixed assortment of ducklings. We have kept them inside waiting for warm weather. They are fed and watered regularly and are allow to swim often. They have done well for several weeks but in the last 3 days 4 have died. 3 found dead in the morning or afternoon when we go to refresh the water and one after swimming on the pond on a warm day. The ones that have died did show signs of being a little wobbly shortly prior to expiring. Any ideas what is causing this? What can I do to save the other duckings? How warm does it have to be before I can put them out on the pond full time?

What is the Christian argument against carbon dating?

Lately I have heard devout Christians saying that carbon dating is flawed in that the great flood somehow negates the scientific legitimacy of the process. Could someone please explain this argument to me?

Why isn't the "Moral Majority" shutting down sushi bars or seafood restaurants?

Gay marriage is a HUGE issue for conservatives in this country, citing the bible as a refrence, in which it states “[Homosexuality] is detestable” (Leviticus 18:22). BUT my question is, in the very same book of the bible, God refers to something else as being "destestable": “Anything living in the water that does not have fins or scales is to be detestable to you” (Leviticus 11:12).
So one could argue, that in GOD's eyes, enjoying Unagi (freshwater eel) or octopus or shrimp, crab, lobster, is commiting the same "level" sin as a practicing homosexual.

alright i know the argument that no one is trying to stop homosexuals from having sex, just stopping legal recognition of the relationship, But my question then would be, How did sushi bars or seafood restaurants get health department approval, legal regodnition of their businesses.

on a side note I am a Christian, Often my arguement to these people is, STOP citing the bible as your purpose to "destroy the unnatural" because in
