i asked her if she could buy me some pads yesterday when she went to the store, and she said "ok" but then she came back said she dint kno i meant to get them right then, and she has too much on her mind, because shes havin an on going fight with my dad , but its not like it can really wait that long , and now she is like " why wont u wear tampns ? " and i dont feel comfotable wearing them , and i cant cuz they hurt , and she said shell get me some tomarow after noon , and untill then i have to either wear tampons or use toilet paper .. ive been livin off of toilet paper for 2 days now !! and it suks ... i am just reely angry now , how can i talk to my mom about this with out getting ina fight ?

heres my question...if everything happens for a reason...and our life is already written down on some hypothetical book...would we still have freedom (since everything is predestined)

...and thinking that we do have freedom is actually part of our destiny??

...hence...would criminals be doing anything wrong...after all it was not there choice to commit the crime (since its already predestined)

I mean it's so crazy, no-one would take it seriously. The ideas would be out in the open to be discussed on a rational basis. As it is, they make kind of martyrs out of the Creationists by banning their ideas from science classes, so maybe some people think they might be right after all. What does anyone think?

A Earth-like planet is 20 light yrs away. People in the news media say it would take 800,000 years to get there, but I took Physics in High school, and learned about special relativity (relativity in inertial reference frames). If a spaceship could accelerate at the rate of 1g (9.8 m/s2) it could reach near light speed in one year. (2.998 x 10^8 m/s / 9.8 m/s2) = 354 days, plus give "artificial gravity" for growing plants. If it increased speed half the trip, and decreased speed 2nd half. (1g for both incr and decr) how much would the time dilation be for passengers? I know how to calculate time dilation for constant speed, but not constant acceleration. Another issue is the max speed. More force is needed to accelerate a mass at greater speeds due to mass increase F=m*a. However, "work" is W=f*d (and distance decreases with increased speed), so shouldn't the increase in mass be offset with the decrease in distance? Hence the same "work/energy". More "Power" if faster.

the computer is about six years old with 1.4 ghz pentinum 4 processor with 512 ram in it . I was wondering if i could use the dell windows xp professional disk to load on to this computer an sort of update it for a low budget upgrade since I have the disk here at my house now. Since the windows ME is not the best operating system at all . I could see benefits of having the windows XP Professional on it to extend the life of my dinosaur.

my bf and I have an over 2 years relationship, I love him very much... we have been apart in 2 countries for over 1.5 years...we talk on the phone everyday. He asked me to marry him, but as my family go against it, we didnt get married. Last Decemeber, I thought I probabely wouldnt get the chance to be with him, so I married to someone else, someone I dont love... then I found out my bf is all I want, so I divorced my husband, I paid lots of money to the university and applied for studying in his country, actually I dont need to study for myself, all I did it was for getting back together. My bf is very happy, he thought Im serious about him and we could finally get back together, but he didnt know I married for 5 months...although my exhusband and I didnt even live together, bcos he is in another country 2, he only came back 2 weeks to marry me... In another 2 months time, I would be able to see my bf again, I know he has a lot of hopes about us, but will he be able to forgive me?
