there is an ongoing debate over at my house about this. I like sprite, and my wife likes bud. i said beer has just as much sugar as sprite.... she says beer has way less sugar.. can anyone tell me? i hope im right!!!! :)

I received a citation in Santa Clara County, CA for Violation of California Vehicle Code 22451, Railroad Grade Crossings.

According to the California DMV website, the fine for first infraction is $100.00 (http://www.dmv.ca.gov/pubs/vctop/d18/vc42001_16.htm)

My Courtesy Notice from Santa Clara County designates bail as $375.00.

Is the county able to assess its own $275 fine on TOP of the state fine of $100?

Should I go to court and try to get the fine reduced?

Help!

I have been on a birth control pill for over a year now. I have always gotten my period on time (usually a couple days before I took the sugar pills, but I didn't mind). My period lasted from 5-7 days and were normal (not light but not really heavy). However, this past February my period was only 2 days long and ended with a lot of brown discharge. Then, in between my pill pack I started to get breakthrough bleeding (something I never experienced before). My March period was back to normal. Then, I began breakthrough bleeding again in between my pill packs which lasted a little longer then the last month and ended in brown discharge. My April period was then very light and ended in brown discharge. What is the cause of this?? I have been on this pill for over a year and have never had a problem with it. What is going on??

Well, I'm 17/male and have been taking 60mg of Prozac for Severe Depression for the duration of about a year now and following a fairly productive and successful life, my depression has caused all that to take a sharp nose dive. I'm not working to form on anything, I have been no use to my football club, my 8 A-level subjects have sufferered severly, and worst of all I'm too tired to do anything, at any time of the day. While I'm awake I feel like I'm a prisoner in my own mind which has been redecorated to resemble a torture chamber and the rest of the time I sleep.

For anyone who is a professional in the field of depression, suffers from or has suffered from Depression, A little support and info other than that which I get from my elusive psychiatrist (Yes I am seeing one) - would be greatly appreciated. How did you alleviate these feelings of chronic fatigue, the twitches all over (may be something else) and the sheer lack of enthusiasm for life? Thank you in advance.
