Just a slogan. Actually on the first Trix commercial the rabbit GETS TO TAKE A BITE of Trix cereal and loves it. From then on they just thought it'd be funny to never let him have it again. The reason it's only for kids is because usually adults will choose healthier cereals like Number 4 or Honey Bunches Oats.

Cause adults are slow and lazy. Only kids can catch the rabbit to grab the Trix.

I have wondered that. What is wrong with an adult getting a good sugar rush? I eat Fruity Pebbles!

its an old ad slogan that targeted children, normal adults dont analyze cartoons that are directed at children. and most adults dont eat bowls of sugar for breakfast.

I don't think that they're explicitly JUST for kids. They're just certainly not for rabbits.
