There are so many rude, negative people that feel they need to answer questions?! Seriously, there is no need for you to be rude all the time. Especially when someone is asking a perfectly decent question that doesn't need your rude comments.

I agree wholeheartedly Malarie!! That makes a great deal of sense to me ............... we should treat people as we expect to be treated ourselves, with kindness and dignity. People display rudeness and negativity simply because of bad breeding and lack of knowledge, knowledge is power !! ...... :0)

I disagree. No, I'm not one of those rude people now. I have been in the past. I guess what I am saying is this place is great for answers but also fabulous for venting! I see a stupid question, horrible spelling, ignorant shock addict, or just someone who you feel needs to hear it straight and if I have had a really crumby day, watch out! Venom will flow! Oh yeah, I'll feel really bad about it later, knowing I've just blown 10 points, but like I said, It's therapeutic. Just venting, thanks!

Some otherwise decent people are just having a bad day, and they take it out on faceless folks on Y!A. Then there are the poor, benighted people who confuse rudeness and negativity with humor - they are mostly riddled with insecurities, I think. And finally, as in the real world, there are a few screwed-up people on the loose who should probably be locked up.
None of these baddies wear scarlet & crimson, nor are they Blackshirts. ;-)

sometimes whats rude to you might not be rude to others... best to just ignore it. Acknowledging rudeness and mentioning it only makes you return the favor.

They are just trying to be mean to get attention. They trhrive on getting people riled up. Pay no mind to them. They are not worth wasting energy on.
