Studies have shown that the children of gay parents are as likely to be healthy and well adjusted as children reared in heterosexual homes. Children raised in gay or lesbian household do not show any higher incidence of homosexuality or gender identity issues than other children.

Please tell me I have a Sony DVD player - you have to format new discs before recording and then it asks if you want to finalize the disc after recording so that you can play it on other DVD players . Does this mean that once finalized you cannot record or edit on that disc?

Note that 1/(3n-1) can be rewritten as 1/(3n - 3 + 2), or
1/(3(n-1) + 2). (This much I can follow of course)

So the series 3∑[ 1/(3n-1) ] from 0 to ∞ is the same as -1 plus the series ∑[ 1/(3n+2) ] from 0 to ∞. (This is the part I don't understand)

Original question: What's the limit of the series(0 to oo) of 9/(3n-1)(3n+2)?

4/18 I found a betta at Walmart in about 1" of water which was very blue. I could only tell he was light-colored - I thought he might be coral, light pink or white. My son wanted to rescue him and I agreed. We got him out, got him in a decent bowl. We're caring for him according to the better betta sites. He was flesh colored with orange/ red fins. His colors get richer every day. I know he won't get back to his actual color until he finishes getting comfy. He seems to be a happy little guy - swimming around, making bubbles, eating and pooping and doing what bettas are supposed to do EXCEPT: He looks "dirty" despite all water care - started as spots, now looks like dark vertical stripes - they sort of follow his fin stripes. Pix at http://new.photos.yahoo.com/deborahgrand/album/576460762399515695 . Last night, at same store light colored bettas looked like scales had black tips - some had every "scale outlined". What is this and what to do to cure? Thx! Deborah

I've heard alot about men saying I always knew that I would marry her!
My boyfriend told me that he wants to marry me but when we're ready, we've only been together 8 months. Yet I don't know is there a way to tell if a man is thinking about you in a marrige future type or if he's just with you.

I love him but I'm scared about the future I feel like I'm giving my all, I just want to make sure that we'll end up together in the end for real.

I hear a lot of times women say they are going to marry their boyfriends they day dream about where they will live talk about how many children they want to have and then BOOM they break up, and she's left heart broken!

How do you prevent that?

The fleas are coming from under the building where cats used to live until they were captured and relocated. Employees on the end where the fleas are are getting bitten since they've come indoors. They're spraying outside but it doesn't help the folks inside the building. Is there anything natural that will deter them from biting the employees besides downing garlic?

My Chi was diagnosed with colitis. She was eating Royal Canin Chihuahua Special Breed food from Petco since 6 months old. Since this colitis problem, my vet changed her to Eukanuba Low residual diet and she just throws it up. As my last effort, I decided to cook for her is the best thing. I don't want to deal with pet food since the recall. The diet I give her consists of ground beef, rice and baby food vegetables. Her stool is still sometimes watery and I dont know what to do. What should I feed my dog for her problem? Also, what about a vitamin supplement?

I'm curious as to whether I do have dyslexia or not. I asked this question to a friend before but she just said my eyes are trying to take in too much information for my brain to process, but I'm still not convinced that I don't have dyslexia. I mean isn't that what dyslexia is?

Anyways, whenever I read something, especially paragraphs, I will sometimes leave out or add in words. Sometimes the words I add in don't actually show up until a couple lines down the page. When I write or type I also tend to add or forget to add words. For example, yesterday I wrote "the the" on multiple occasions. Is this a sign of dyslexia?
