My best friend of 30 years is a SEVERE alcoholic. About 6 months ago she lost her relationship with her "boyfriend" and moved back in with her 80-year-old father in another state. She cannot hold a job for more than 2-3 weeks and mostly just sits around all day drinking and making long distance calls on her father's phone. Keep in mind she's 41 years old. She keeps texting me and calling me and saying stuff like "it's time to go" and telling me that she might go to the funeral home and go ahead and make her arrangements, etc. When I tell her I'm afraid she's suicidal, she laughs and says she'd never do that. I'm a single parent trying to raise a teenager and I really don't need the added stress of this. Nothing will get through to her and she obviously does not want to get help. She got a DUI last week and thought it was funny.

How should I handle this? Should I call her doctor and discuss this stuff with him, or should I just ignore her and go about my own life?

Clinton: Lied about getting a BJ....under oath oooooohhhh (Like I care!!!!)

Bush: Lied about WWMDs. Lied about Al-Qaida's connection to Saddam. Lied about 9/11. Lied about the war being accomplished in 2003. Etc. etc.

The difference being (excuse my bumper sticker slogan): No one died when Clinton lied.

So, why is lying under oath about a BJ worse than causing thousands of deaths the world over??? Explain this to me please!!!

I have two golden retreivers and they are crated when I am not there. For a while everything was great, they are both a year old now and they started chewing the floor to the crate, we have gone through three different floors now, and I am at my witts end. They have toys, they are taken for runs everyday, they finished teething months ago, I am out of ideas!

I'm 17, and my husband is 18. We just had a little girl a month and a half ago. He doesn't really help, so I told him that I wanted to get on birth control so I dont become pregnant until we're ready next time. He disagreed, and said that I didnt need it. Well yesterday at my 6 week postpartum check up, my dr asked if I wanted birth control. I told her yes I did, and got a new thing called Implanon that is a little "stick" that gets put right under the skin in your arm and is effective for up to 3 years. I can get it taken out sooner if I want kids sooner, but i knew the pills, patch, or shot wouldnt work for me and this is so low maintenence... well anyways, when I got home, my husband wasnt mad, but wasnt happy with me either. should i feel guilty for getting it, or was it really my choice to let us grow up a little more before having any more kids?

A Football player attempts a field goal by kicking the football. The football follows the path modelled by the equation h=3.9t^2+10t+3. where h is the height of the ball and t is the time since the ball was kicked in seconds. the ball must clear the uprights for the field goal to count. the uprights are approx 5 metres high. how long does the ball stay above 5m in height? i'm stumped on this one, any help would be awesome

Hello, I have a 90 pontiac 6000LE 3.1 MPFI, I checked the voltage to my TPS and its reading 0.80 Volts at idle and 5.50 Volts at Wide open throttle.. Does this sound like a bad tps? I have been running extremely rich lately and losing alot of fuel ecomony along with pops out the exhaust with some fuel related smoke out the pipe. Curious if the TPS sounds like its bad
