Not sure. When you go to get your lip pierced by a professional they use a hollow needle. You might try putting larger gauge needles through your lip.

OMG you just set yourself up bigtime for an infection. Clean that often w/ alcohol and just let it heal up.
Body piercings are done with autoclaving needles. They are hollow in the middle, so they act like a hole punch, unlike a sewing needle. That's how you get a piercing large enough to fit lip rings/ etc. Let a professional do this for you.

while its still fresh, you have to insert the ring of your size now, while its stretchable.
