will those of you who deny that now, acknowledge that Canada was right, and you were wrong?

If you believe that humans have no influence on Global Warming, then I will ask you to do one thing. If in the future, if it is found that Global Warming is/was indeed influenced to a large extent by humans, will you publicly announce "I was wrong, and Canada was right"?

You don't need to debate Global Warming, just consider this hypothetical question.

If we find in the future that humans have no influence on Global Warming, I will have no problem saying "I was wrong (along with science) and the skeptics were right."

In the future, I will be on Planet Awesome and will care not all about global warming in the least.

In fact, human kind will branch out into the stars .Who cares what it will be like on earth?

Do you care how comfortable it is in your baby crib right now? Do you even have your baby crib? It's long since been thrown in the dump, hasn't it?

Babies outgrow their cribs, like humans will outgrow earth.

First of all, I do not know if the relation between human activity and global warming CAN be proven with 100% certainty. There are simply too many variables to consider.

That being said, to answer your hypothetical question:

1. I am willing to say that "I was wrong, and the supporters of the global warming theory were right." If every single Canadian is in this camp, then so be it.

2. Even if global warming is not provable, that does not mean that a cleaner environment via wind power, hydrogen powered cars, better gas mileage, etc, is useless. A cleaner enviroment and less dependence on unstable oil markets would be a good thing, anyways.

Some science authorities are saying that humans
have nothing to do with global warming. One thing
people cannot change is the climate and the
weather. So, I deny humans caused any global
warming and there will be no apologies to anyone
or you, as I'm sure you or anyone else will not be
able to prove the fact.

of direction you won't have the ability to tutor a destructive (tutor you're actually not beating your spouse, and so on.) yet as quickly as we incredibly have been steaming in the direction of an environmental doomsday for the final 50 years do not you think of average environmental cuts and utilising our vehicles the different day are fairly pointless? IF guy is having the consequence environmentalists say then any enforcable action that would desire to have any genuine consequence on climate substitute might might desire to be performed on the element of a gun with the finished industrialized international held in something of a digital reformatory camp. In different words, we will shop spewing out the comparable issues we alway have, it the two will consequence the ecosystem or not, and there is helpful little all people can do approximately it.

Pascal, a famous mathematician, once wrote:

"If you believe in God and find at the end of your life that there was no God, you will have lost nothing. If, however, you do not believe in God, and you find at the end of your life that there was a God, you will have lost everything." This was spiritual probability that he posed to his class.

So, at the same rate, I wonder why it is that there are people out there who do not want to take action against global warming. If you take environmental action now and find out later that we did not affect global warming, then what will you have lost? Nothing. Your air would be cleaner. Your rivers would be fresher. Your land would be nicer looking.

But if you do not believe humans were causing it and they were, you will have lost everything.

You lose nothing by being environmentally aware and by doing more to keep the earth beautiful and clean.

So, why do they resist?

Well your hypothetical question is a bit lacking.
for one I think most people will agree there is some warming
and two I think most will agree that humans play a part.

I think the only argument is
-how much warming
-if its cyclical and really a danger
-HOW large of a part humans play
-can anything actually be done if it is a danger

I would return a question to you.. if you it was found that most of the 'scientific data' that was being used was flawed, overblown and some of it outright lies, what would you then think or do?

who then should apologize for the past global warming events. it has happened several times. yes we contribute and yes we may be moving it along a little quicker than it would on its own but global warming and cooling is a fact of life. i will say it now, i am sorry for my part but i want an apology also from the bovine of the world for all the methane they produce. global warming is a fact and every thing on this earth contributes. see you in sunny ocean front arizona.

First of all Canada is not the only one who believes that. I'm American and they have been educating us about global warming all of us are to blame, but all that matters at the moment is what we do about it.

Having a theory that is not substantially proven today does not make me WRONG to not believe in it, even if it is proven in the future. It means that the facts as we have them today do not indicate that to be the case.

So I don't see why I should apologize for anything.

Of course I would, humility is important. Al Gore's doomsday clock is still a few years away from Earth's annihalation, so we'll just have to wait and see.
