What kind of car are you driving and is it your dream car? Is it paid off or do you still owe on it? What color is it? What does your car say about you? Do you love your car more than your significant other? With the gas prices climbing every day, does it make you not want to drive a car, or would you buy a hybrid?

Serious question, is there any part of the Republican platform that the fundamentalist Christian does not buy into?

After seeing all these people I know in their early twenties in their 'love' relationships I have to say I think its a bunch of BS. If their silly little affairs are love then I dont want any part of it. I dont think people even care to understand that love is not just oh I met a guy at the bar and we get along and enjoy having sex - we might as well get married. Dont people want more from life?

I don't think either one is true, but I have been seeing many people disputing science with weird, paranoid conspiracy theories. For example, one guy posted that evolution is a "fraud played on Americans".

I always thought that science (biology is a science, and so is meteorology) was the honest interpretation of the data at hand. Why is there so much distrust in science and data? Is it easier to dismiss if you don't think you need to make any effort to understand it?

Norv Turner has a career losing record, which is a bigger black mark than Marty Schottenheimer's postseason losing record in my opinion

The first time my daughter went on the potty was at 17 months. Now she's 24 months and she still doesn't always go on the potty. She started going most of the time at 20 months when I bought those Easy-Ups with Dora the Explorer on them. I told her that Dora doesn't like to be wet, so try your best to go on the potty. That seemed to work for a while, but all of a sudden, she didn't seem to care if Dora was wet. Then, I tried the sticker charts, but she never cared about rewards other than clapping and telling her she's a big girl. Then, I decided to try just using panties, but that seemed to backfire on me. I swear she deliberately went in her pants constantly just to spite me. I've been making sure I don't push her. I take her to the potty when she says she has to go and when she goes in her pants, I just simply tell her to try and make it to the potty next time. She's in pull-ups right now and I refuse to go back to diapers. Should it be taking this long? What should I try next?

The kidding that kids receive at school because their parents are fundamentalists is bad...I know, I was one of those kids with fundie parents....this is usually an argument against gay parenting...it works both ways.

Fundamentalists strive to force everyone to believe as they do...they will make their children attend church..read the Bible, etc...is this right? If they are Baptist, they will force their child to go to a Baptist church...is this right?

Finally, Fundamentalists will tell their children that they are going to hell if they do not believe as they do...if they do not turn from their sins, etc...isn't this an act of torture...say, if the kid is gay? This treatment has caused many gay kids to commit suicide.... Shouldn't the fundamentalist be held accountable for harrasing the child, etc...

This is only for example...if the fundamentalist will love the child they, along with gay people should be allowed to adopt...there are too many unloved children in this world

I have a Toshiba M105-S3074 laptop, with a realtek soundcard in it. I doesn't transmitt sound the right way, it only plays over the microphone, I want it to go over the soundcard, so it's more clear to the people hearing it. How do I go about this, is this a setting that needs to be adjusted on the laptop, or will an external soundcard resolve the issue? I know the soundcard is hd capable, but it shows no stereo mixer. Someone help me.

thanks

Jurgen

Anyone who likes baseball knows that the AL Central is arguably the toughest division in baseball. Living in Michigan, I'm not liking that. There are already four teams with 10+wins, ( Tigers, Twins, W.Sox, Indians ) and this is only the beginning of the season. But who will win the central? It's a tough call. X_X

I'd say it will be the Tigers or Indians in the end. The Tigers have one key injury, Kenny Rogers, and they have a lot of slumping hitters such as Monroe, Inge, and Sheffield, but the Tigers have the hitting experience and pitching experience. They also have a great bullpen, although it is somewhat struggling early on. I think it's possible we'll see the Tigers, Indians, W.Sox, and Twins with 90 wins or so by the end of the season. Even if the Tiger's don't win the central, they ( or the team in second place ) will get the wild card, more likely than not.
