Blood pressure is the product of cardiac output. The pressure exerted is dependent on:
1). the amount of blood which is affected by salt intake and plasma volume.
(if the salt is increased it dehydrates the cells and attracts more water in the circulation to maintain the water-salt balance which will increase the cardiac output thus would increase the blood pressure.)
2). total peripheral resistance (dependent on the balance between multiple vasoconstrictor and vasodilator systems).
(More salt will increase fluid volume that would activate vasodilator system which will decrease the total peripheral resistance so there is increase in cardiac output resulting to increase in blood pressure.)
With salt restriction, there will be salt depletion in the system. Vasoconstrictor systems that increase total peripheral resistance are activated so there is reduction of cardiac output thus blood pressure is maintained.

because the cells are dehydrated. water follows salt (or sodium). If the person eats more salt then thier bodies can begin to shut down. All fluid and nutrient levels in the body are dependant on the concentrations of h20 and salt inside of the cells and blood stream.

Salt increases blood pressure in certain individuals. This is due to osmotic pressure. It is too much to explain here. Look on the net or in a biology book under OSMOSIS.

Too much salt causes high blood pressure, so to reduce blood pressure, eat less salt. Kinda obvious, eh?

Because of few reasons (1)Our kidney deals with this blood pressure !Do you know more than 1700 liter of being filtered through the kidney daily !When we eat more salt than kidney has to work more !BECAUSE (2)SALT CAUSES RETENSION OF WATER IN SIDE THE CELL WHICH ULTIMATELY WILL NOT ALLOW CELL TO WORK HAPPILY SMOOTHLY ! (3)THERE WILL BE SLOW VENOUS PRESSURE INSIDE THE VEINS CAUSING MORE HYDRATION AND ACCUMULATION OF FLUID AT VARIOUS LEVEL IN VARIOUS SYSTEM WHICH AGAIN WILL NOT ALLOW THE EFFECTED ORGAN TO WORK PROPERLY !and IF KIDNEY FAILS BECAUSE OF OVER WORK OR OTHERWISE THAN AND FOR OTHER REASONS ALSO HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE WILL CAUSE HEMORRHAGE OF HEART ATTACK WHICH MAY CAUSE MORBITY OR MORTALITY ! ALWAYS YouRsmE
