I personally prefer tequila, vodka is good for mixing but as a spirit is very neutral while tequila you have so much character...
Some on my favorite Tequila i suggest you try if unsure of what you like... Casa Noble simply the best, Tesoro the numero dos, Fina Estampa, Chinaco...
