I work in a High Street store and was due to work a late shift however this was changed at the last minute (one day before) to an early which is unsuitable for me as I have a prior engagement which I cannot change. Were do I stand? I have been told I will be disciplined for failing to show up but the hours do not suit and have been given to me at extremely short notice.

Anyone can bring any weapon secretly onto campus, where they know that no one else poses any threat to them, being unarmed. How do we best protect our children from those armed predators who secretly disobey our laws at will? Especially when they attack our children in their schools?

Beyond the pound of cure, what is the ounce of prevention for such lawless individuals?

Like mine right now is the new AA22 shotgun because it has like no recoil and fires frags out of the clip also it fires standered ammo like .243. and finally it never has to be cleaned

I notice that when I have my computer on for long periods of time, or when I try to shut it down sometimes, the computer will freeze. I can attempt to restart or shutdown in either case, but I will keep clicking on the buttons without anything happening. When I press cntl+alt+delete to bring up task manager, the computer will take a long time to respond.

I've tried defragging and running a virus scan, but it doesn't seem to help.

I also find a serious lag time when I try to respond or ask questions on Yahoo Answers. My typing has about a 5 second delay from when I type to when my letters appear in the box. This has happened as long as I use Y!A on this computer as opposed to another one.
