How or why people thumbs down answers to questions that are ones opinion entirely...not subjective. Like say the question was Are you over 25 or under 25? well how can an answer to that be thought of as "thumbs down". I understand if they are simply answering like an idiot BUT otherwise I find it really weird!! Have you ever thought this??

In my opinion, GUNS should definitely be made illegal in the USA!
There have been so many shootings throughout educational facilities over the past few decades and innocent lives have been taken. It is so sad...but what angers me is that nothing has changed with the American Gun Law.
If people like Cho Seung Hui werent allowed to buy a gun, then how many people would he have been able to kill with a knife? Its so ridicolous that Guns are still legal and you can just walk into a gun dealers shop and just purchase one!

I know this is a common question already but i'm so dense about this stuff. This guy pays more attention to me than to any of his friends. He's the only guy who actually looks at pictures I post on my page and comments on them. They're all very endearing comments but nothing is clear. Even the emails that he sends me are hazy. I took him to the vet and she said at most he will live 3 months with medication. We started the meds and he is not getting any better. I live in Spain on a military base so I can not get another opinion on his health. What should I do? Oh, he is an 11 year old beagle.

Blackwater USA is a mercenary army created by a member of the christian far right, Erik Prince.

The Bush administration loves using them as they are not bound by the same rules of engagement as the USA military. They have the world's largest privately owned military base at 7000 acres.

Isn't it against the ideals of christianity to own a mercenary army that operates outside the laws that control regular armies?

Do American christians understand that this stuff makes them look really dangerous to the eyes of the rest of the world?

I first learnt of this private army when I read the linked article.

1990 Pontiac Grand Am, Automatic Trans.

When driving, the vehicle runs smooth. When I come to a stop it will shake, not like a 12 on the rhictorscale, but it vibrates and its very noticeable. This probelm goes away if I slip it into neutral or park. It has done this since I have owned it, and the spark plugs and wires have been changed 3 times, regular maintainance kept up on, and not driven hard. Looking for suggestion on what this could be, because, frankly, I have no idea.

...I noticed this and freaked out with anger and rage and simply froze. I am concerned what my fellow employees thought of me, being a senior offical of the company. But my own senior colleagues were very supportive to me soon after - although I don't know what they might be thinking privately. I confronted the offender and without going in to any detail, somply asked him if he understood everything I said in my speech. He must know that he caused me to stumble so publicly.
What words of encouragement can you give me to put this behind me and not let it affect my confidence and work in the future? Thank you for your advice.
