How or why people thumbs down answers to questions that are ones opinion entirely...not subjective. Like say the question was Are you over 25 or under 25? well how can an answer to that be thought of as "thumbs down". I understand if they are simply answering like an idiot BUT otherwise I find it really weird!! Have you ever thought this??

I have wondered about that myself and have come to an opinion, and that is: that they like to go back and see their answers instead of strolling down and going through other peoples answers they can skip those and go right to theirs, so they think it's saving time. of course you and I take this site more seriously and look at each question and answer to learn, to educate us, feed back, etc etc, and there are others that just think this is a game and so they write in-mature answers and basically make an a** out of themselves. that's just my opinion.
