There is a debate going back a long way in many religions: If God is all-powerful and all-good, why is there evil in the world?

Belief in God seems to be a precursor for belief in the inherent goodness of the world, so it's important to resolve this conflict. How can the WORLD be good when it contains evil?

I wonder how anyone can resolve this conflict without belief in an all-good and all-powerful God. It seems that the world can only be an enemy if one doesn't believe that an all-good and all-powerful God created it.

However, I believe that nature follows NATURAL LAWS and can only be good. How can anyone argue with the rain and the sunset? It simply is--it is good by its nature of being.

What I cannot accept is man's inhumanity against man. I cannot accept deliberate evil (free will). Nor can I accept indeliberate evil (ignorance).

Why do people do evil, and how can we accept that as a non-negotiable fact of reality? How can we recognize the evil persons as innocents?

Alec Baldwin is a high profile liberal, or atleast he has expressed his contempt for the Bush administration. So would this be a huge issue if he was conservative. Nobody knows what the child has done, maybe it was bad. Conservatives are,for the most part for arents right to punish their children as they see fit. Maybe the child did something really worthy or this response, maybe A.B. is a crappy dad. But foxnews would not make a big deal if A.B. was a neo-con, or a regular conservative.

If so, by what company and in which state? I would like to confirm (yeah or nay), if all CFB's are really manufactured in China. A radio personality recently reported that as we buy more and more CFBs, the Chinese build more coal powered plants to produce the electricity needed to fuel its manufacturing facilities. We all kow that China pays little attention to air quality and global warming. I'm trying do decide if CFB use has a net positive effect on our environment.

Lets say you give your buddy or girlfriend or boyfriend $400 to get you a laptop at a sale he's going to. He comes back and is like, here you go, its a great laptop and you love it, but it was $530. You told dude to spend $400. He's like, you owe me $130. You're like, dude I said spend my $400. That was the deal. You don't have that extra $130. You're a little pissy because it's not what you asked for, its great but its not what you asked for and now you gotta come up with $130. ???

in my street law class on a field trip to see a real murder case about 2 weeks ago. i felt really bad becuase the man was really mentally ill and had been in and out of psychiatric hospitals since he was 14 years old. he's now only 22 and on death row........personally i dont believe in the death penalty and think that this man should have recieved more medical care and attention. But since he was charged with capital murder, the jury's only options were life in prison without parole or death. what do you u think about the jury's decision? (i think he should have got life in prison)

He wants to have a no curfew now (his curfew is 1am). Am I being unfair because I still say no your curfew is 1am. What parent gives there 16 yr.old girl no curfew-can there be that much trust? Am I being unreasonable?Should I give him a no curfew?

well its more the water than the actual fish, my male betta got Pop-eye about a month ago, he recovered about 2-3 weeks ago, but the problem occured (at least i noticed it) about 1-2 weeks ago , the problem is the ABSOLUTLEY HORRIBLE SMELL! it is simalar to the smell of a snunk i guess, i cleaned his tank yesterday and within a few hours, the smell was back, It is smelling up my whole room up so PLEASE help my figure out what this is! the 2 things i can think of is either 1 the pop-eye or2 i changed his food about a month ago he is now on Hikari,i will take the water in to be tested tomarrow and see what they say! but for now, do you have any ideas of what this could be? ever hear of this before? please help me!

Service engine code reading for egr valve so i replaced it. Code went away but at minimal throttle the motor cuts out really bad. Almost dies. Disconnected the vaccuum line to the valve and truck runs fine but service engine soon light comes back on. Is the new valve bad or is there something else i should check?

ok at school today, something weird happened. when i was walking to class, I felt something really wet in my underwear. i already had my period this month so i was like "whats going on?" and i went to the bathroom earlier so i didnt pee in my pants. it didnt look like discharge cuz i ran into the bathroom and it looked like a huge spot of water and NOT whitish goo! what is it?! oh yea and it happened twice today!
