Do we forgive everyone? Or only people who are repentant? Why does it matter if we forgive or not (seeing as we aren't God)? Does it mean we let the forgiven person treat us badly again, and then we just forgive - again? Or do we need to incorporate justice, penalties/punishments and retribution into our concept of forgiveness?
Can we just be angry at people who deserve our anger (ie. they don't seek to change their life, or they are not repentant/acknowledging their guilt)? Or are we not allowed to be angry? Please tell me what you think!

This time I have lost all respect for this insane President! He knows very well that members of the evil Baath party took off their uniforms and blended into the civilian world before U.S. forces entered Iraq. Now he wants to let this civil war come into our neighborhood. I feel like he's telling us that 25,000 really angry guys who hate you are moving in next door. Your wife will be raped and your children's heads will be cut off shortly. But you just keep working and paying your taxes and if you die we'll just replace you with another cipher in the moat. We've got plenty of ciphers to keep working and plugging money into the system SO WE CAN KEEP SCREWING YOU! Now drop dead and let me get on with my work! I've got busy fundraising to do! Working for Halliburton! I'm sick of it! I'm more angry with the conservatives in the media who claim to be conservative than I am of those in the government. They're all liars if they say they support the president at a time like this!

I'm in the process of designing a functional laser rifle, and I have a question. Is a high powered Carbon Dioxide laser the best bet? I know they are used in laser surgery to cut the skin, but I don't know how good it would be at range. I am 17 years old, and I have had it in my head for years to build a laser rifle, and now, I'm actually in the design phase. Do you think that another type of gas laser would be better, or maybe even a non-gas laser. I just know that ammo is heavy, and if there were no ammo, our troops could be more effective. Plus, I'd become a billionaire. If I do become a billionaire, I might even send some money to those who help me. So, there might be something in this for you. I'm still studying the specs of various laser types, and believe that a CO2 laser would be best according to the data collected, and figures.

I have a work colleague who treat me like crap for no reason that I can figure out. He wouldn't want to return my "good morning' neither does he want to talk to me or even look at me. I am deeply hurt coz I cannot figure out how one human being can treat another that way. We both are new to the workplace and have known each toher for two weeks. I can swear that i didn't do anything wrong to him. He works next to me so this situation creates so much stress to me. I am a sensitive kind and it hurts my feelings when people treat me like this. I cannot confront him and ask what his problem, coz he acts so arrogant towards me. - he is not from my cultural background, but I don't think that is his rpoblrm coz he gets along fine with other people with various cultural backgrounds. My English isn't very good but I communicate fairly well in English with other people, so it shouldn't be a problem either. What can I do? should I just keep being nice to him or ignore him completely, like he does.

Keeping drugs out of schools and keeping kids straight could mean less druggies at the work place as these kids get older. I have a right to work without worrying if the people I work with are going to flip out on dope, shouldn't students have the same rights and safety precautions? How about drug sniffing dogs in the hallways???
