Why would a woman, who has broken up with someone who is jealous, does not treat her well, controlling, does drugs and that she and her friends have had nothing but bad things to say about him, go back to him.

Because even though she has been treated rough she is 'lost' on her own - or co-dependent on him.
She feels she can not cope on her own and not comfortable being single therefore even though she is not happy with 'her man' she'll stay.
Sad I know ...

As a man I have wondered why some women go back to the same dirtbags who would treat them like garbage than getting a nice and upstanding guy who will treat her better. This is from a man who was raised around a bunch of women. It always seems that women b*tch to each other asking, "Where at the nice ones?" or complain about men being dogs, yet they are the first ones on their doorsteps.

Here are my theories why these women go for the bad boys:

1) Self -esteem. These women have no self esteem or think very little of themselves that they put up with Mr. Bad Guy's Shi*.

2) Who is the first man in every woman's life? Dad. If the woman in question is raised in a home where dad is a dirtball, is cold towards her and treats her mother like garbage, then she grows up subconsiously thinking that is how we men are supposed to be.

3) Some women think a guy being nice to them is a sign of weakness and not as a strength of character. They look at nice guys as groveling for love and sex.

Take heart. There is nothing wrong with being nice to a woman. Just don't confuse being nice to a woman as being romantic and sensual to a woman. Those are two different things. If you are a master at both, you will have more women coming at your feet than you can handle.

Fear of the unknown. When a woman has a man, regardless of what he is, does, has, etc., she knows it. At a point in her relationship, she will grow tired of being treated badly, and leave him, but then, she has to start all over again. Sometimes, being with someone who is bad for you, at least in their minds, is better than not being with anyone, or possibly going out with someone, who may turn out later to be even worse.

these men are masters at manipulation. they make the woman feel so insecure, and of course, only they will love her, and they always say they will try to do better, and she believes him, he will change for her, because he loves her, so, she is what you call co-dependant.
hmmmm, how do i know this?
i am on the inside, digging my way out....

I've seen it happen for years. Defies logic. I guess the familiar whupping is better than the unfamiliar loneliness.

Don't worry, some women are cureless stupids and they can not use their brain to realize how those men really are. And most girls adore bad guys, donno why. Maybe they think they are the greatest f**kers on Earth and no other guy does it like that.
