I think Allison and Joe Dubois (Medium) are the perfect couple because they are obviously in love and are very respectful of each other.

My ideal would to be like Gomez and Morticia Addams, from the '60's series, "The Addams Family".
Gomez and Tish were an intelligent, loving and devoted couple, each respectful of the other's views and personalities--they enjoyed each other as individuals and they enjoyed the togetherness they shared. They made no secret of their love for each other, and were never ashamed to demonstrate their affection for each other. They were doting but not over-indugent parents who tried to instill their values in their children without stifling their creativity or their own young imaginations. At the same time, the elderly members of the family were respected, loved and their views were always sought in times of trouble. Their home was a reflection of their love of art and culture, and a model for hospitality to friends, relatives and visitors. Multi-lingual and multi-cultured, they never demonstrated prejudice or hostility to anyone. Although the Addams family were wealthy, they treated their servants as part of the family at all times. They cared for animals of all varieties, and tended their gardens and conservatory with care that any environmentalist would envy.
Who would not wish that their lives could be so rich in love and friendship?
