The psychological madman deserved to die by his own hand - probably because he was afraid of what might happen to him after what he did at the Holocaust.

I think if I were to mark the occasion at all, it would be to stop and remember all the Jews, and how horribly they were treated, and all the brave men from the allied forces that set out to end it..... I don't think Hitler deserves remembrance, even to celebrate the day he blew his brains out....Somewhere in his whacked out mind, he thought he was aspiring to greatness, that it was his destiny to change the world, the ultimate insult, would be to forget he ever existed....Just a thought.....

It put's a smile on my face everytime i think about it although i would rather have seen him survive to be put on display in a see through inclosure.
