I mean, now any other sicko out there is going to see how this guy got his 15 seconds of fame, and isn't this unusually cruel to the victims families to have to see this guy splashed all over the media? I just think maybe they should have used more discretion. I'm all for freedom of the press, but how about some morals over ratings? Shame on NBC.

A Talking Clock
A man showed some friends his apartment. One guest asked "What's that big brass basin for?"

"That's the talking clock," answered the man. He gave it an ear shattering pound with a hammer.

Suddenly, a voice on the other side of the wall screamed, "Knock it off! Don't you know that it's 2 a.m., you idiot?

I wanted to throw out the garbage with sheetrock when some sort of sanitation inspector came up, and asked me what was inside. I had no idea if this was some sort of violation, so I was forced to take the garbage back.

She wants to my husband and I to be divided, if he sees her and the rest of the family on her own she will be happy and thats what she wants. What should i do as i already feel awkward in her presence anyway.

The effect in which the motions of the monster are twitchy and violent jerks instead of a normal fluid motion that is normal walking. My question is what is this effect called specifically? Within the industry I suppose, the jargon. In case I am not specifying enough what I am referring to you can witness this effect in movies such as the first "grudge" on the security camera when you see the shadow walking "twitchingly" toward the tv and in probably the best example in the "House on Haunted Hill" 1999 remake, when the "un-dead medical staff" are twitchingly walking on the security camera as Mr.Price watches it approach his wife. My friend briefly told me once that since the human brain interprets movements at certain frames per second and expects certain fluid motion that the "twitch" effects tend to frighten people. I am extremely interested in finding out more, any help to point me in the right direction to some resources would be much appreciated! Thank you..

I just got a 1998 VW Golf GTI with a 2 liter motor and a 5 speed tranny in trade for some goods and it has 198,000 miles on it. I was wondering how much further it may go? I do know it was well maintained by the previous owners.

2007 marks the 200th anniversary of the ending of the slave trade in the British empire (the first to do so permanently - and almost 60 years before the US did). Should all nations involved in the trade apologise and and compensate the descendents of the slave trade? Why (not)?

If so, should the british and germans demand compensation from the Italians for slave trade done during the Roman empire (of which both were cruelly subjected to)? why (not)

Hi, I'm from England and i'd like to say first that this isn't out to offend anyone and I hope it doesn't... But since hearing about the awful VT shootings, i've noticed so many questions on here asking if this inncident will make us change our minds about Asians in general...And with respect I have to say, it's driving me mad.

Race/colour is a much much bigger issue in the US than the UK. And if this had happened over here instead, I doubt that many British people would be asking the same question.

I have to say the same about the whole Don Imus issue (Sorry if i got his name wrong, I'd never heard of him untill a couple of weeks ago and still don't really know who he is...). If Imus had been British, and that comment had been made in the UK, sure it would cause some fudes, but to be honest, no one would really care.

Why do you think there is such a difference between America and the UK when it comes to race?

we have decided to change our last name due to (his) family issues. he was adopted at birth and ever since stuck with the name schitz (seriously). my last name was saeger and we were thinking of changing it to that.

our names are natasha and harrison so if you can find any suitable last names, that would be nice.

IF YOU ARE GOING TO TELL ME THAT I SHOULDNT CHANGE MY NAME, THEN DONT ANSWER THE DAMN QUESTION!! thx

I'm a quiet person. who almost never talks. I suck and i make so many mistakes . So now i've decided to tell everyone that i don't speak english, which is actually correct. But they are so push y and say that i do!!

I'm confused. talkative americans say i'm trash and that i dont know how to speak but then if i tell them that i dont' know how to speak.. they insist i do..

by the way i'm latino.. and i also don't speak spanish well at all. so i say that i don't speak spanish because it's true.. but then the mexicans say You look mexican.. so you do speak spanish! Man, when will they understand?

I speak nothing. it's the truth so why doesn't society believe me?
