When you have 2 vectors and you take the dot product, you end up with a scalar, but what does that scalar represent?
I have the formulas for the dot product, but can some one explain what the scalar represents?

I'm making lasagna for an anniversary dinner and I need a wine to go with my entree. The last time I tried picking out wine by myself it tasted like crud. What is a decent tasting wine that is reasonably priced (under 20$ a bottle)? Thank you for your help!

We ordered lunch from the deli at work, and with each lunch we each get a free desert, so I asked for banana's and cream..so the guy sent me over a whole unpeeled banana in a tray with whipped cream on the very tip of it...that was so degrading, what should I have done or said..or what would of you had done?

we've been together for 2 1/2 years am 20, he as a friend,(girl i might add) they have know eachother since highschool, The first time i met her, she gave me a weird vibe, but i didn't think of it much until, 1 month ago, My boyfriend and I, when out for dinner, and she left him a message a song. a song about how they have a good frindship, and they will always be together.. blah, blah .. so, he looked confuesed when he pick up. so i asked him who that was, he told me and let me hear the rest of the song, so when it ended i asked her what the*****ck was her problem, she just said that i was over reacting, so i made a *small show , i asked him what was going on, he promised that there is nothing between themt she is just a good friend , I know this girl, and in a way i fellt disrespected, and I asked him not to talk to her anymore because it was going to keep bringing problems to our relationship, so he agreed, and today I found out that their talking again, What is the right thing2do

I don't really know how to ask this question, but please answer if you can.

My husband and I just began trying to conceive. We are new at this and he did it inside me. I laid there afterwards with legs up and all (it was kind of funny), we both laughed. There was a little of it on the outside. Does it still work if it isn't all inside the woman? And if I had my legs up should that have happened?

This may seem like a silly question, but I am so new at this and just making sure we're not doing things wrong. Thanks :)

I know this has probably been asked a million times,but, how could a loving God send any soul to hell, regardless of whether they believe in him or not, how can a person be sent to a prison of fire for eternity simply for not committing to a religion, I personally try to be a believer, but I cant do it, I am full of so much doubt, yet I cant totally turn away and say its all false, if there is in fact a judgement day will I be able to plead my case there, and accept God at that point?, or will it be to late?

the NBA rookie of the year is going to brandon roy but i dont think he should get it hes done good and everything but he didnt make his team better the only rookie i saw that made his team better was bargniani and tyrus thomas helped the bulls out on D and rudy gay randy foye they didnt make their teams better yes they all had good stats but they didnt make a huge affect on their team who do you think will get it? explain why? thanks
