The sun warms the earth. How much of that heat gets to the earth varies due to cosmic radiation. This is a proven fact.

As the air warms, the ocean warms and oceanic algae grows and prospers. This emits millions times more CO2 than humans could possibly do. It takes around 800 years for the oceans (which cover 2/3rds of this planet) to warm and therefore the relationship between a rise in CO2 and the air temperature is that the increase in CO2 will come 800 years after any significant warming in air temperature. This again is a proved fact.

Put simply there really isn't much humans, as a relatively insignificant species inhabiting this planet, can do to change or cause global warming.

What we are doing though is crippling the third world. We are dictating to poor countries in Africa Asia and South America that they cannot build power stations to burn fossil fuels, leaving these countries with no electricity. This means poor schools, hospitals, basically keeping them poor

I am thinking about starting my own business.

Right now I am a first year undergraduate; however I am not really enjoying my studies. I have always wanted to run my own business and I am thinking about leaving college to do so. I have heard a lot of "rags to riches" stories and stories about graduates who despite having degree can't get a well paid job.

Do you think that at my age it is possible to start a business? (I am 18 soon to be 19)

Maybe someone with experience can give me some pros and cons?

My dad is a huge Roland Rat fan, and would like a graphic to go on his most prize posession... Hi! I am so confused right now. I am a 21 year old female student who works full time bartending. I missed a week of work (Last week) and visited my doctor at the Walk In Clinic I go to *TWICE* in 3 days. He wrote me a note "excusing" my days missed at work due to a case of vertigo in my right ear. Now I am not a rich girl, I do not have health insurance (I know, I know, I am looking into it when I get my next 2 paychecks! lol) and everytime I go to visit the doctor its $70 office visit PLUS meds/tests so it totals out to be at least $150-250 each time I visit. My question is : I returned to work with my 2 doctors notes (got one each visit why not that's why I paid $70) everything was fine and I worked this past Friday Saturday and Sunday. Yesterday at work I got a very bad dizzy spell from my vertigo and had to go home. My boss told me I needed to go back to my doctor and get a note releasing me to go back to work. I am feeling better I just got a really random dizzy/nauseated spell at work and I don't have $70 for another office visit just to get a NOTE!

What do I do? Do I call the office instead of going in there and having other patients "listen in" ? If I call what do I say? I am so bad at these types of things. Please help me out. I need to go back to work on Friday, I am a starving student and I need to work :(

I recently found out that a very close relative of mine has colon cancer. Is there anyone who has survived cancer that would like to share their story? It is a very scary time, and any positive outcomes regarding cancer could help uplift his mood.

I know about the cholesterol lowering drugs causing joint pain, etc. rhabdomyolisis, etc. but don't know if this is anything like that. When I lie down I just get a crick in my foot or sometimes my lower leg. When I stand up it goes away.
