This is a red flag & a sign that you need to make some changes starting NOW. Situations during your lifetime will arise, your lack of being disorganized & irresponsible will show you some consequences.....Just so you know, you might want to call your bank & ask them to send you copies of your past transactions or you can go online & print them out yourselves. That might help you but balancing your own check book & keeping track of your expenses helps you better. We all learn & mature from our mistakes.

GOOD LUCK TO YOU.

If they are only asking for a hearing to get a payment reduction then they, not you, have to prove why they feel a reduction is justified. If they are going on the excuse that youre misusing the money then they have to show why they think such. This will have to be real hard evidence and not hearsay. Judges see these attempts to reduce payments alot everyday and they dont really like to bother you unless the plaintiff has a real justified reason. Unfortunately, the law doesnt require you to keep detailed records of where the money goes to so there youre safe.

It is also possible that the partner paying child support has had a changed in circumstance and is asking for the reduction. Support has to allow the person to live as well as pay support. Just because you have had x number of dollars in the past the amount can go up or down dependant on their income.
