Here's something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:

Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two, family - childhood memories - would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!

The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.

Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.

Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it a homemade feeling.

Find a really neat outdoor picture of your dad and you when you were a young boy. Have it enlarged - 5x7 or so and get it matted and put in a wood rustic frame. You could write a note and slip into the picture frame toward the bottom or write on back of frame. OR take him to Las Vegas for a couple days.

This is your time to show your father just how REALLY important he is to you, and why he is your Best man. You must know something he has always wanted, but your mother wouldn't let him get it because she thought it was frivolous. Maybe a new scope for his gun? Something along that line. It doesn't matter that he will be getting much more than your groomsmen. After all he is your father!
P.S. I can't believe my suggestion... I dislike hunting...sorry.
