And by honest I mean that they don't claim to know things which they do ... not ... know -- just like agnostics.

How can any administration - "agnostic" or not deal with the problems confronting the North American people with mere, thinking? Are there real solutions in dealing with a people bent on shoving their religious views (Muslim) down our throats - even if it means "jihad" ? The scope of the Muslim extremist problem becoming armed with nukes and reasoning will never serve the cause for peace. "Peace" will only be achieved the North American way - not the Muslim way where conformity will be the rule not opportunity and free-will choice. The biggest problem confronting us North Americans is not one of administration (even, agnostic thinking) but one of how do we contend with the radical, tsunami wave of Muslim terrorists attack on our western culture and lands? How does one reason with the unreasonable ? Remember the lesson of former British Prime Minister Chamberlain when he returned from a peace "wow-wow" with Adolf Hitler i.e. "Peace in our time", Chamberlain proclaimed to the British people before Nazi Germany rain bombs on them. North America - you have enemies in this world !

A religious Administration, well I think we should have done something about them when they violently seized power from the Shah in '79. It is stupid to have your nations supreme leader as that nations highest religious figure. See, I ignored your ridiculous premise and instead discussed my dissatisfaction with an actual religious administration. What would you want, an Atheist Test Act that would require the President to affirm his non belief before taking office, it was wrong when the English did it with Catholicism and it would be wrong if we did it with any belief system.

THAT would require a populace that is not consumed with a rage so bombastic that they require our politicians to be religous fanatics.Good luck.

Half of everybody doesnt vote, out of disgust mostly. The half that does is controlled by religion to punish, not promote actual justice for everyone else. They say they are not hateful, but they vote for politicians who are, so what's the difference?

It may be a while until a majority of America is ready for politicians not blinded by hatred and use monotheism to beligerantly justify it, but one can hope.

The bottom line is,money rules.

Yes, but first the average American has to realize that religion and morality can exist apart from each other. There are plenty of moral atheists. Just like there are plenty of immoral Christians.

Religious politicians don't bother me. Just the ones who push their religious beliefs.

It will be a nice change to have a President who can speak decently and doesnt have a cowboy attitude to dealing with problems.

Yes. I am ready for our next president, John McCain. He will tell us the truth about what is going on in Iraq, not the Liberal biased news media, like CNN, NBC, ABC, MSNBC, or CBS!

If you mean people who are like minded with you, that would be anything but honest.
