Is it true that the Christian Church that Christ established has always been on the Earth?

The Apostasy Was Recognized By Reformationists

Roger Williams, pastor of the oldest Baptist Church in America at Providence, Rhode Island, refused to continue as pastor on the grounds that, "There is no regularly-constituted church on earth, nor any person authorized to administer any Church ordinance: nor can there be, until new apostles are sent by the great Head of the Church, for whose coming I am seeking." (Picturesque America, or the Land We Live In, ed. William Cullen Bryant, New York: D. Appleton and Co., 1872, vol. 1, p. 502.)

Thomas Jefferson, though not a cleric in the usual sense, was a great student of Christianity. Even he acknowledged the loss of the original gospel and said that he looked forward to "the prospect of a restoration of primitive Christianity."

Is there a way to stop these situations from happening in the future.

We've all met people who seem deeply troubled, depressed, angry, loners - but that doesn't mean they are going to go and kill a bunch of people.

Can we prevent these things? If so, how?

"Thirteen governments [of the original states] thus founded on the natural authority of the people alone, without a pretence of miracle or mystery, and which are destined to spread over the northern part of that whole quarter of the globe, are a great point gained in favor of the rights of mankind."

John Adams, "A Defence of the Constitutions of Government of the United States of America" (1787-88)

My daschie tears up every toy we get him. He then eats it or the stuffing out it and gets sick. He does not like rubber toys. His favorite are plush toys. But, they usually last about an hour. He loves his toys so much. He mourns each one we have to throw away. He has two rope toys right now. That is all he has left. Is there anything else other than rope toys that he will not tear up?

Revelations 11

1 I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, "Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, and count the worshipers there. 2But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles. They will trample on the holy city for 42 months. 3And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth."
