Anything by Hartz should be avoided.
They are ineffective at best.
They can cause severe illness, chemical type burns on your pet, and even death.
Spend the extra and buy a safer product such as Frontline.

Its not very safe. Its very caustic. Last month when I went to the vet, the vet said that she had even seen a recent case where the HARTZ flea and tick drops damaged the hair folicles of a dog, so he had a big bald spot on his neck. HARTZ product are low quality. You would better off using another brand of flea and tick medication

Hartz as you examine is not any sturdy regrettably because that's the drops you don't recognize how a lot has gotten into the device ( because that's been 2 days your dogs is often ok, even if do not use any extra) you'll favor to watch for 4 weeks formerly using anythig else this would nicely be an overdose and kill your dogs if carried out formerly I strongly recommend advatage plus

I can tell you they don't work. The best thing in my opinion that you can buy is advantage from the vet. I know it cost a lot but I can tell you it works. When I worked for a vet we would put that on pets and put them back in their cages. I would come back a few hours later and there would be dead fleas in the cage. Advantage works the best. Just my opinion though. one other thing my cat had a flea allergy and if a flea bites her she will break out in a rash. Advantage is the only thing that has helped her so I think the stuff kills the fleas before they have a chance to bite.

Yes..I have an opinion from personal experience. They DON'T work and you are wasting your money. I've tried them all, and Frontline Plus works the best. I know hartz is cheaper and you can just run to any store to get it, but your dog AND you (remember..fleas bite humans too, and so do ticks) deserve to be flea and tick free !!!

No. The cheap brands of flea spot-on have potentially dangerous chemicals in the wrong levels. You need to invest in the quality flea treatments like Frontline or Advantix. Any of the $8 treatments in the aisle of Petsmart are dangerous.

My opinion is that if you use Hartz products you will poison your dog and still have fleas. Get a good topical treatment from your vet. If we must put chemicals on our dogs, they can at least be effective.

Fleas are a major pest. There are various species of fleas - cat fleas, dog fleas, rat fleas and rabbit fleas.
You can get rid of them by the safest and cheapest methods like boric acid.

It didn't work for me. DO NOT USE FRONTLINE! I spent an arm and a leg on that stuff and it did not work! I tried it many times. k9 advantix is the only thing that works. It costs a little more, but works! And it also repels mosquetos. I find Drs.Foster and Smith have the cheapist prices. Good Luck!
