What harm, exactly, does homosexuality cause?

I don't want vague answers like "It erodes morality!" because that's bull. No saying "It isn't natural." Gay animals show up all the time in nature.

I don't want you telling me your religion says it is wrong. I am not a Christian, and surprise surprise, many people aren't Christians either. You can't use your holy book to prove something to someone who dosn't believe in it.

I don't want outright falsehoods like "Gay men molest little boys!" or "Children raised by gay parents will have mental problems!" because that is utter nonsense and has been disproved time and time again.

And I don't want anyone saying that gay people spread AIDS. This isn't the 80s. AIDS is just as prevalent in the heterosexual population as the homosexual.

I want flat out proof that allowing homosexual couples to get married and adopt children and lead normal lives like everyone else will, in some tangible way, harm the rest of us. Provide links to reputable sources only, no biased hate sites.

Sunday School

Little Mary was not the best student in Sunday School. Usually she slept through the class. One day the teacher called on her while she was napping, ''Tell me, Mary, who created the universe?'' When Mary didn't stir, little Johnny, an altruistic boy seated in the chair behind her, took a pin and jabbed her in the rear. ''God Almighty !'' shouted Mary and the teacher said, ''Very good'' and Mary fell back to sleep.

A while later the teacher asked Mary, ''Who is our Lord and Savior?'' But Mary didn't even stir from her slumber. Once again, Johnny came to the rescue and stuck her again. ''Jesus Christ!'' shouted Mary and the teacher said, ''Very good,'' and Mary fell back to sleep. Then the teacher asked Mary a third question, ''What did Eve say to Adam after she had her twenty-third child?'' And again, Johnny jabbed her with the pin. This time Mary jumped up and shouted, ''If you stick that damn thing in me one more time, I'll break it in half!'' The Teacher fainted.

What effects do temperature have on Ohm's Law?

I've been looking everywhere, and I haven't found out a detailed explanation of the effects of temperature on Ohm's law. I know that an increase in temperature means an increase in resistance, and thus a decrease in current, in order for voltage to remain constant. But my teacher says that I need to elaborate a lot more on this. Can someone help me?? Thanks heaps!

Do you believe there is anything wrong with wanting to be eaten?...?

Okay, there is no GOOD way to ask that question, but to clarify, I am not a vorarephiliac, and find vorarephilia particularly distateful. (Not that I have any moral imperative against vorarephiliacs, I just couldn't handle that)... That said, after I die, what would make it something that is wrong to eat me? (assuming I am otherwise healthy when I die).

I was thinking about things earlier, and the options society presents are:
A) Make your family pay thousands so they can get together and be sad (or happy as the case may be, you could make it a party in theory.)
B) Have your body burned, don't waste the money, but still let an asset go to waste.
C) (though it is still rejected almost as much as cannibalism) Cryogenics... incredibly expensive and probably impractical....

I don't have kuru, there's a good chance I won't be diseased at all, and people are starving elsewhere in the world... Why would there be such a big taboo on feeding them?

Did Jesus come to earth to start religions?

i don't think Jesus came to earth to start religions. Came to spread GODS word. Religions today are like gangs. you got Baptist talking bad about Catholics even though they are both Christians. what sense does that make? with my beliefs in this world i am considered a Christian but the whole religion thing really grinds my gears. what do you think? and why are some Christians so judgmental? isn't being a Christian about forgiving and not judging?

Car Stero Set up?

Hi all, I brought a cheap 6" sub w/ box that includes the amp inbuilt... but when i came to installing it i was at amazement at how to get it to work. I'm trying to coordinate it with a sony head unit that I installed myself and i'm not shore weather its not working because of my lack of electrical know how o weather the sub box is faulty. I have included photos of the sub's amp and the stamatics of the sony head unit. Please could somehow illustrate how i'm supposed to set this up:-)
