i don't think Jesus came to earth to start religions. Came to spread GODS word. Religions today are like gangs. you got Baptist talking bad about Catholics even though they are both Christians. what sense does that make? with my beliefs in this world i am considered a Christian but the whole religion thing really grinds my gears. what do you think? and why are some Christians so judgmental? isn't being a Christian about forgiving and not judging?

Jesus came to earth to spread the word of God and to die on the cross for the sins of man. The bible tells us to be forgiving , and it is too bad that some Christians are unable to forgive. but not all Christians are like that, and I hope some how the world can see that. I don't believe in religion, I believe in God.

Good question. Good comments. I do not agree with much of the Catholics belief nor do I agree with much of the Baptist beliefs and many other denominations out there. I could name problems with all denominations and some so called "non-denominations" out there. The real issue not what church you go to or what denomination you belong to. The real issue is weither you have completely given your life to Jesus Christ. If that is so then you are a child of God. Jesus ACTUALLY came to free people from the bondage or religion. Too bad most churches do not want you to know that.

Jesus was sent to this world to save us from our sins and to teach the words of God in the bible for those who are non believers of God and the words of God in the bible.In his stay on earth as man, , he teaches spiritually on God teachings and have founded a church which is called the Church of God.

Jesus should not be blamed for the things happening to his followers which are called christians. Those Christians who are doing and speaking bad things against their fellow Chhristians should be blamed for not following the law of God, the law imposed by Jesus.

Blame the Baptist and the catholics for doing this matter if really they both fight against each other regarding religious belief. But I think it is not a fight from flesh to flesh or personal body contact but on their doctrines which are not biblical and were barrowed from pagans tradition and doctrines.

Take note of this verse in Mathew which Jesus have taught:
Mat 5:43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
Mat 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
Mat 5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
Mat 5:46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
Mat 5:47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
Mat 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Jesus didn't come to start a religion. Religion is a social construct of man.

Jesus came to teach us how to live life, that we may live life to the full...so that we will live each and every day with meaning and joy. =)

Jesus was sent to lost sheep of house of Israel. This is paul who started spreading message of Jesus to gentiles and these gentiles ended up in this mess of trinity/atonement/original sin/ crucifixion etc.
