Smoke if you got 'em. My only problem with it is the whiney non-smokers.

Hard addiction to quit but one of the stupidest wastes of money on the planet.
My daughters were brought up to look at smoking as funny to look and dangerous to do. The first time they went abroad the first thing I heard from both of them... with amazement and disgust.. "and Mom they smoke CIGARETTES in restaurants!"
It was easy for me to quit after 8 years of smoking. If you start coughing up blood, good idea to quit. Actually it was not that easy even so... but that blood was a very scary thing and I managed. That was 38 years ago. Cold turkey and no patches.
I have friends I never even see any more because the tobacco is such a problem. If I visit them, I have to wash all my clothes when I get home, and shower. I guess it is a zero tolerance thing. You mean in the U.S. they still let you smoke in public?

If you mean, its not easy to refrain from starting again, then think of all the negative things you are doing to your body. Look at the pavement and realize that that is what you are doing to your lungs. Visit someone that is dyeing from emphasima. If you have kids, think about leaving them 10-20 yrs sooner than you need to because you couldn't put down that cigarette. Think about how smelly it makes your clothes and how you are hurting the people around you. Chew a piece of gum or get your mind off of it by doing something that takes a lot of physical activity. Try the patches etc... and cut yourself down gradually. Good luck and I can't wait until you take your first real breath again.

Hell this Aussie has been smoking since I was 14 years and now I am in my 60's and I wish I never started.
If I could quit for good I would be a lot better off financially and a lot more healthy than I am today.
I'll definitely going to quit one day.

I love smoking, but I am a non smoker. I used to smoke a cigarette here and there on the weekends, but now I find them gross. I wish I still liked to have one once a while, but I do prefer cloves most of the time.

I think it's disgusting. It stinks, it's bad for you and it's bad for the people around you. I'm the only one in my family who doesn't smoke, and I have to smell them and their disgusting habit. I love my family, but eww.
