(In our home) We went from a cushioned seat to a wood one. Every time I sit on it, I get that scared feeling like I just fell in. Then I realize it's just a harder seat. How long will it be until my butt gets used to a harder seat? Have you had a similar experience?

I would love to get my Monroe done or do it myself; but I`m not so sure I would really want to. I`ve read other questions about the same subject but i`m not sure; so if my lip is thicker would it really hurt more? and I`m just wondering but would I actually look okay with one like could I pull it off? hm i`ve already pierced my lip on the right side it didn`t hurt that bad or anything and it healed pretty good. so what do you think?

Yesterday morning, as I was getting out of the shower, I slipped, fell and hit my head hard on the shower door. My husband rushed me to the emergency room ,where I fell in and out of consciousness for about 4 hours. I don’t remember a lot, because when I was awake, I was tired, dizzy, confused and dazed. When I was all alone, a male doctor came into the room, felt my head where I had injured it, said I’d be okay to go home, then he said he’d have to look between my legs. I was so tired, confused, and it felt like only half my brain was working, so I really didn’t question it, which was stupid, but I couldn’t help it. Shortly after he was examining me, I went black, and either fell asleep, or went unconscious. I asked my husband after we left what they were doing when they went down there, and he got upset. They never told him about it, and he saw no reason to do that. I call my close friend, who is a nurse, and she said that there was absolutely no way in hell he would have had to examine me down there. I’ve called the emergency room, and haven’t gotten a response. What do I do? I feel weird about this. I don’t have a good feeling at all. Who do I tell, should anyone actually believe me?

I read here ALL THE TIME (in fact, someone just said it in my last question from a few moments ago) that if you don't believe in the bible, then you cannot understand it. You'll only see false things, and things you want to see, but its meaning will escape you...(and so on).

Well, it's an interesting thought.

But, unfortunately then, it means that christians who believe in the bible will not understand any of the OTHER cult books. The only cult book they can understand is the bible, because that's the one they believe in!!

So, WHY DO CHRISTIANS CRITICIZE THE OTHER BOOKS (Quran, etc), when they clearly don't believe in them, and therefore cannot understand them? (Hey, this is using their own logic!)

HMMM???

Is it more of the same double-speak/hypocrisy?

If I format my drive, will I be able to use my xp reinstallation cd I got with my computer for the drive. I called Microsoft and they told me that since the hard drive I originally got with the computer is not on the comp anymore that the xp software is no longer genuine that I have on the new drive! Is there any way around giving the already multi billion dollar company another 100 bucks for the software I already paid for? lol!

Hi, I have some math homework i dont understand... Our teacher didnt go over it...
Can you show all steps ( If possisble) To these problems??
1) How many intersecting points occur when 4 parallel lines are perpendicular? IF you do know, how did you know??
2) How many lines can intersect at a point?
3) Whats does intersect mean..??
4) How are perpendicular lines like intersecting lines? How are they different?

If you like a girl, but you aren't sure if she likes you, and you have been told that this person isn't sure if they like you, should you persue her until she makes it obvious one way or the other? Like, this girl and I have talked either on the phone, or through text many times over the last three or four days, and even spent the night with each other, on her invitation (no sex) late last week, but I have been told by a buddy who is dating her friend, that she isn't really sure.

Should I take that as she doesn't like me in that way? Or should I continue to send nice little texts, and even try and call until she either says she is not interested, or just stops responding?

Who whould hate me for what i believe. I believe that all gods are the same. i have much evidence and beliefe to support this. one thing is that most religions that survive today teach almost the same lessons, respect one another, don't warmonger, and forgivness can really make a difference.
of course my belief part comes from the fact that god could not send the same message to everyone, or that since it was humans who recieved the message, it got changed. as aresult we get these many simmillar, but believed different messages, allegedly from different gods. but i believe they are the same god, or quite possibly gods. as aresult of this i dont care what you belive.

what i ask is how plausible is this and how much does this set me off from the rest of the croud.

About the Virginia Tech shooting today...
My mom was saying that the man who killed those students was sick in the head. I responded that if he was a student, that he was probably an outcast, that he got bullied and tortured by other jocks and students and was probably very, very miserable. The conversation then went on to God. She said that the man didn't fear God, and that we should, and that the older generations feared him and implied that it was right. I then said that you shouldn't fear God, (doesn't God say to his people, "do not be afraid, for I am with you,"?) you should respect him, just because you have to praise him doesn't mean that you should fear him, but give great respect. She said that that was wrong, and my generation should fear God, not just respect him. Is my mom right or wrong? What are your point of views?
