Who whould hate me for what i believe. I believe that all gods are the same. i have much evidence and beliefe to support this. one thing is that most religions that survive today teach almost the same lessons, respect one another, don't warmonger, and forgivness can really make a difference.
of course my belief part comes from the fact that god could not send the same message to everyone, or that since it was humans who recieved the message, it got changed. as aresult we get these many simmillar, but believed different messages, allegedly from different gods. but i believe they are the same god, or quite possibly gods. as aresult of this i dont care what you belive.
what i ask is how plausible is this and how much does this set me off from the rest of the croud.

I don't hate you...
I do have a suggestions.
It is along the line of "Bess' statement..
Why don't you honestly, spend some time alone, and open up your heart and ask the "TRUE" God'(s) to make it known to you who you should serve.
Any god wants to be the one to be served...therefore the "True" God, Whether it be the God of Abraham or "another" god will respond in your heart and mind so that you know the truth.
Yes I am a Christian, Yes I believe the God of Abraham...BUT!
What I believe will make no difference to the "true" out come if you do this in sincerity.

Youre forgetting the fact that there are VERY few monotheistic religions. And all 3 of them point toward the same God!
God is in the habit of sending the world the same message through one group of people; his people.
Youre one who believes that all religions are the same and might be true. But beyond that Im not seeing anything substitive. I think you underestimate both Gods ability to communicate with the world as well as his true followers ability to share with you the good news of Jesus Christ.

I don't hate you but I suggest that you pray for Him to reveal Himself to you because all the revelations in the world from all the religions are of no use until you personally have a revelation of Him.
As to all preaching about not warmongering what about Jihad?
But yeah like the Great Spirit of Native Americans I'm sure that is the same as my God. I guess in arrogance people assume they are the only ones worthy of revelation from God.

A lot of people feel the same way. Some people will be accepting, and some will not understand.... just the way it is. I totally understand where you are coming from. Religion is supposed to bring people together, but unfortunately it is separating us. A lot of religions are VERY similiar; in fact a lot of christian religions are ones that branched off from Catholisism. But yes, the basics are the same.
So many choices so why pick one?! Be loving, be kind, believe what you feel in you heart is right and you can't go wrong

Actually, you're one of the most reasonable people I've encountered on Yahoo Answers. There's a lot of smart people who think that 'all roads lead to heaven' or something like that. It's just the really insecure, IMHO, who get very chauvinistic about their religion being different and better than anybody else's...

That's a very Baha'i belief. I like it! I think that it is quite plausible, however several groups will probably disagree with you. Any group that preaches the One and Only Truth will disagree with you. Go to www.religioustolerance.org for a listing of One and Only Way philosophies/religions and their beliefs. But, personally, I wouldn't hate you. That's very tolerant! you would like religioustolerance.org. Hope this helps!

why would you be hated for that? it's not as if you're the first or only one to believe that...i've known other, highly intelligent and decent people who believe the exact same thing...i disagree with them, but it doesn't mean i'm good and they're bad...and it certainly doesn't cause hate...because there's really no room for hate under either belief

One problem, that wasn't the message of the god of the Old Testament, Yahweh. He says to hate your enemies, seek revenge, and calls himself a man of war.
