I survive on SUBSTANTIALLY less than doctors so I know it's possible to do.

Getting insurance to pay for inflated costs doesn't help anyone, it still raises the overall costs of health care for everyone.

Why don't doctor SHOW their altruism instead of speak of it? They could take substantial pay cuts and STILL make more than the average person. And they would have more credibility in their professed motivations.

I am not getting at dog owners HONEST! but those people who buy a dawg, and dont have time for them make me sick! how would they like to be kept in a back yard all day? I guess they would soon be howling. . . :P

There seem to be a large number of people asking politically motivated questions about science on here who don't appear to have an adequate education to even phrase the question, let alone comprehend the answer.

Why do they think science is about proving theories, when it is all about disproving hypotheses?

Why do they think that evidence which cannot yet be explained by a theory invalidates all the evidence that is explained by it?

Why do they think that evidence that cannot yet be explained by a theory will never be explained by a more refined version of the same theory?

Why do they think that the process of refining theories to better fit the evidence somehow invalidates the whole sequence of improving theories?

Why do they think that widespread agreement within a field is evidence of a conspiracy, rather than evidence of solid scientific investigation and peer review?

And why are they using Yahoo Answers to score dubious political points off a disinterested audience?

Science is buffoonery in as much as proving or disproving the existence of God, and yes, that includes your infantile quantum mechanics.

Question: How much is that doggie in the window, the one with the curly tail?

I am selling a doggie with a curly tail, I have set a price, already posted on another website.

Using your scientific knowledge, and all of your mathematics, would you please now demonstrate the infallible wisdom of your pseudo science by showing all of us stupid people the price that I have set for the doggie in the window, the one with the curly tail?

And, when you fail to so do, then how in God's name do you assert the non-existence of God based upon what you call science, and puny mathematical construct, that can not even adduce the price of the doggie?

About 5 years ago my dad stepped out of the house to take a smoke break and he came back in after 5 mins and he told my mom he felt and saw something weird and he had a feeling there was something wrong with someone from my moms side of the family, in a different country. he told my mom to call them and see if everything is ok but she didn't because she thought he was losing his mind..well anyways the next day my moms uncle came over to tell us that my grandfather (moms dad) had passed away the day before..he said that my grandpa had a heart attack and no one was home ..by the time someone came over and the ambulance got there it was already too late, he had passed away.... I thought it was really freaky.. is my dad psychic or something?

Were Socrates, Aristotle, Plato, Plutarch etc the first people to say they were. Would it be fair to say that was where the ideas came from?

If not, where did they first come from, can't be Bible, that was after Aristotle etc and they were already saying it.

From the perspective of the best training, the option of the best commission split(90 or 100%), and the most visibility to the customer, who would you recommend? We are starting our real estate practice in the Phoenix area and have plenty of backing to get off the ground in a reasonable amount of time with no "part time jobs" or other distractions.

I'm looking for a timer, an "hour meter" if you will, that will automatically time my playing of a digital piano. It could work on the headphone output, so that when it detects audio it starts counting, and after the audio stops it stops after a small delay. It would need to be completely automatic - no "push start" or "push stop" (I could use a plain stopwatch for that). This way I could know exactly how long I've been practicing/playing.

I've tried searches for "audio timers", "appliance hour meters", etc. and so far no luck.

If you're electronically inclinded, seems like a 555 timer attached to a counter/display thing would work. I considered making a 555 one-shot and have the output drive a relay that was wired into a standard cheap stopwatch... hmmm.

As for me, they are the biggest racists, who provoke white people, and not only, to hate African-Americans.
Why don't they comment and condemn the beatings of Asian or Jewish students, at the schools, by African-Americans.
Why don't they appologize for their racial remarks against Duke Lacrosse team players. They called those innocent guys "The white racists".Those guys should sue Al Sharpton now for his irrelevant remarks.
Listenning to his radio, I can only assume that everybody hates Blacks.
And his actions only force people to join KKK and Nazi's, as the only powers to keep Blacks calm.
