I have a soft rubber kewpie with light ink stains on it, is there a way to wash it off? Perhaps with chlorine bleach? Or at least lighten the color of the stain

Purell saturate well, blot, repeat, the more you repeat the more the stain will fade. Works like a charm.

After running a scrapbooking store, I have learned that Seabreeze works the best to remove the ink stains from rubber products. Follow it up with a baby wipe, and you're usually good to go. Bleach strips the paints off the kewpies as my mom found out with her collect on accident during a military move.

It depends on the kind of ink. You probably want to avoid bleach as that will probably affect the rest of the doll. Give rubbing alcohol a try, if that does work, try mineral spirits. It may be permanent.

Bleach may be a bit too volatile. Try using hydrogen peroxide, if there's still a stain after that you could also try: vinegar, baking soda, shampoo or whitening toothpaste! Hope you get it!

Try using baby wipes. This works for washing off my rubber stamps.
