I am not getting at dog owners HONEST! but those people who buy a dawg, and dont have time for them make me sick! how would they like to be kept in a back yard all day? I guess they would soon be howling. . . :P

Well.. it's harder than you imagine. I don't ever keep my dog outside, but he spends a lot of the day alone because my husband works and I used to work alot, and whenever we both had time off, we'd go out and enjoy each other. Since my husband is in the Navy and he goes out to sea every 3 months, spending time with him when he's in port is number one on my list. and keeping my dog company falls short of that. i WOULD get rid of my dog because I feel like I'm not giving him enough, but he's 7 years old and most german shepherd places won't take dogs over 5 and most SPCA's have less luck adopting out older dogs. Most people want puppies and dogs around a year old. So before you judge someone who owns a dog, you might want to think about what kind of situation they might be in.

i hate it when people treat their dogs like... DOGS!! my dog is like a member of my family! (she pretty much runs the house lol)
