About 5 years ago my dad stepped out of the house to take a smoke break and he came back in after 5 mins and he told my mom he felt and saw something weird and he had a feeling there was something wrong with someone from my moms side of the family, in a different country. he told my mom to call them and see if everything is ok but she didn't because she thought he was losing his mind..well anyways the next day my moms uncle came over to tell us that my grandfather (moms dad) had passed away the day before..he said that my grandpa had a heart attack and no one was home ..by the time someone came over and the ambulance got there it was already too late, he had passed away.... I thought it was really freaky.. is my dad psychic or something?

No, Lovable.. this is whats called "PRECOGNITION" or "Premonition"-- obviously, being this was your "Mom's Dad"-- who to your "Father"-- would be his "Father-in-Law".. it appears there was a great deal of "LOVE" between them in your family? I know from my own personal experience, my brother appeared to me one nite in a dream--carrying a "hobo's bag" (like an early "backpack") on a stick over his sholdier.. I asked him--"Dean, where you going??".. he said to me-- "Im "GOING HOME" Tom"-- by "Going Home" he was meaning he "Was about to Die" and he was (apparently) "Going Home to Heaven"-- he died in El Paso Tex. in 2002 and I live in Pa. He only lived twice with me, as he was 18 yrs older than me and had moved away long before I entererd school. I was researching my family history on Ancestry.com here last year and I came across his "death certificate" under the Social Security "register of "Deaths"-- and it "Hit me Like a Brick"!!--kinda OMG!!---I felt like I feel about your Grandfather.. he was just trying to give your Dad the "Message"--"Hey! ,its "MY TIME TO GO" and I just want you to know that--"I LOVE YOU ALL" ---please dont cry!!-- I'm "OK NOW"-- Yes, this CAN be "considered a psychic EVENT"-- but not necessarily "that your Dad "is PSYCHIC"--I think its an indication, more to the level of "how much LOVE you had between all of you, and Him"-- and that your Dad was "The Strongest" and could "Handle The News" better than everybody else...and He would be best able to "tell you all" better. It "came as a shock" I know.. same as it came to me.. so I know how you all feel...I hope this has helped you all to see just how much "Grampa" LOVED YOU ALL"---I know that once I understood this about my brother.. it made this seem like-- "Hey, he cared enough to tell us "Good Bye" and I can live with that now.. hope I helped, Sincerly, Tom P

It is kinda strange. Perhaps your dad is more in tune with these things.
One morning I woke up bummed out because I had a dream that my husband got fired. He'd been at the job for 14 years and was doing fine. I told him about it and he said "Don't worry, if it happens, that's just the way it was supposed to be". Well, he went to work and you guessed it, he got fired that day.
There are many things that can't be explained but I find them intriguing.

Everyone can have psychic experiences in their live time, my papa use to say that's what De Je Vue (spelling) is. He was most likely just at a very relaxed point and open to the perceptions of others. It is said when you are dying, those close to you (not in distance) in life can sense it.

This is more common than you'd think, especially involving family ties. Someone may not have any other incidents in their life like this though except for a family member or loved one (spouse), like in this case.
