Why so many people have you missed the possibility of a middle ground truth?
God exists. God does not exist. Why couldn't it be that either assumptions are based on the definition of God that has been set by religions/people and the history, when in fact most definitions are mistaken for human king attributes such as "gets angry", "loves you", "punishes you", "rewards you", "takes revenge", "gives you wealth".
For me God's existence is a possibility or a no possibility, but if he exists then none of the most common attributes are true.
God created the universe. God did not create the universe. Why couldn't it be that God neither did create the universe nor did not, it's just that the universe evolved and still evolving while God is the perpetual catalyst for the process?
I believe that people tend to go to extremes because that's a subconscious bias, some type of self-defense mechanism. What do you think?
