I have prayed and confessed for all of my sins. Sometimes I feel like that's not enough because I can't get good things 2 happen 2 me, even though I do good things from the heart. I can never get things 2 work the way I want, I feel like I'm still being punished even though I've learned my lesson. I want 2 become a better person and wash away my sins. I want 2 start going 2 church more and get baptised. Is this a good path for a better life and 2 become a better person?

God is real, and He loves you (even if you are the most naughty child in the world, or the most wicked adult). He knows all your weaknesses and struggles, and even if you go wrong (even in a big way) He still loves you. What He does not love is the wrong you have done – but He still loves you. He will never ‘turn His back’ on the person who is sorry and asks for help to be put right again – never! Even if everyone else does, and nobody else understands, He does, and He will never leave you even if you leave Him from time to time.

This God is Allah. He is the Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. Certain things that go aginst you is to test ur patience and there is a huge reward for patience.

It is a good path to your life and is a good way to become a better person. But, the question I'm going to ask is what are those awful things you've done? Even you went to confession for a millions times it doesn't mean you will be forgiven. It is between you and God's. Just continue pray do some good deeds. Not for praise or whatever just do the good deeds with good hearted. I am pretty sure that you will be forgiven.

If those thoughts are in your heart then you are headed in the right direction. The problem with forgiveness for the believer is sometimes when we ask God to forgive us, we want to feel something. This is not the case. Forgiveness is not based on a feeling. It is based on what God's Word says, no matter how great the sin. Yes, God will forgive you, but you still have to reap what you sow. If the Word says to confess and you confess sincerely then you are forgiven completely, because God can not lie concerning His Word according to 1 John 1:9. Things will start to change for you. You just have to learn from God how to get Him to do the things you desire.

You know, God DOES NOT care if you go to church or not. It's just a man-made building. I mean, go to church if it gives you a personal sense of peace, but if it's not giving you that, you can just as easily pray at home or wherever you feel most comfortable! And that's what God really wants for you anyway. You need to feel comfortable and meditate and at peace to be able to reach that higher level of spiritual consciousness. You also don't need to confess your sins to ANY other human being. You only need to answer to and confess to GOD.

Doing good things for yourself and others, purely from the heart and soul is such an inspirational act. But don't just do good things only because you want good things for yourself in return.

I think you're on the right path, but you're not exactly looking in the right direction. Good things will come to you...you need to have patience. Also, don't look at certain situations negatively...find the lesson in EVERYTHING that happens to you. Cause there is one. For instance, I had my daughter 12 1/2 weeks early, and she and I both almost died. There was actually a moment where I wondered what I did wrong...it was/is the HARDEST thing I have ever ever EVER had to go through in my life. But out of that insanely difficult time, I realized how BLESSED I am. I feel so lucky that God (the Great Spirit, Buddha, whatever anyone wants to call him) chose me and my daughter to go through that situation. I have learned SO MUCH from living through that difficult time.

When you're going through something in your life that isn't going "just right" to your liking, and you start thinking that you're being PUNISHED...take a moment to really contemplate the meaning of it all, and to learn a valuable life lesson. I think that's exactly what God wants us to do. We need to appreciate ALL there is about life, the good AND the bad. Cause we actually learn more and grow more as a person from the difficult things in life. We need that part of life to help us be the people we are. It's like ying & yang...there's got to be a balance.

In time, hopefully, you will realize this on your own and really truly understand life and be at peace...and THEN you will see what God wants you to see.

Good Luck!

Once you ask God for forgiveness you are forgiven of your sins at that very moment, but you got to have some faith.

Read Luke 23:32-43 where Jesus is on the cross between two criminals. One of the criminals blasphemed Him, but the other asked Him "Lord remember me when you come into Your kingdom"
Jesus said to him "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise."

If Jesus could forgive someone in their last hour and who had never walked with Him or known Him or even considered Him, How much more would Jesus forgive you of your sins if you ask Him. The amazing thing about this is that the criminals wish was granted, and so can yours!!!

Be blessed!

Yes, it is, but remember that justification and sanctification come by grace, not by works. There's nothing that you can DO to be approved in God's eyes. Try to remember that as a born-again person, God sees you as Christ, because He's put His stamp on your life. You ARE forgiven, so rest in the knowledge. The Christian walk is HARD, and I'm sorry if someone told you that it's not. There is peace, and there is joy, but there is constant stuggle and constant warfare against the flesh. And even though the penalty for your sins is paid, there still might be consequences for them. For example, God will forgive someone for committing murder, but the person still might go to prison for it, even thought they're forgiven by God for it. You're not being punished for your sins, but through tribuation you get stronger. God's objective is to have you rely totally on Him, and He'll make sure to give you enough trouble to make you do just that. When you get to the point that you can't make it alone, you'll turn to Him and He'll be there for you, and He's there now waiting for you to put all your troubles on Him. Stick to it and keep the faith! You're halfway Home.

As Jesus told Mary Magdeline: "Go and sin no more". If you have confessed all your sins, asked for forgiveness, and have accepted the Lord as your Saviour, then you are forgiven. It's all a matter of faith. Being baptised is a public proclamation of your conversion. Christ said that if a person didn't publically proclaim Him that He wouldn't recognize you in front of God. You just did on Y!A. Walk and freely live, knowing you are indeed His child and under His care.

I see alot of people didn't really respond to your question or just acted smar to it. Yes a spiritual life style is more refreshing and can help you out. Jehovah can help out anyone with any circumstances. Pray tonight to him (not for anything materialistic or selfish like $1,000,000) but for the truth. Ask him for the right religion and your request will be answered. He is a loving god and he forgives all the are willing to repent. Pray to him and he will answer you.

hi, If i might desire to, Christianity is the only faith that's distinctive then the different faith in line with one ingredient. GRACE. in case you persist with Christ and ask Him to forgive your sins then that's adequate. Church and baptism are no longer a entire might desire to to persist with Christ, yet they're going to very much velocity up the non secular growing to be technique. i'm no longer a Christian yet have faith that each physique religions are good whilst observed properly. in case you study your scriptures and persist with them on your existence the way they have been meant to be you will discover peace spiritually. in case you come across peace spiritually then you certainly gets extra powerful on the flaws you decide directly to do in existence, as a results of fact then your existence tension is in team spirit and you will think of and act extra of course. all your sins will be forgiven if you are truely sorry for your sins and ask God for forgiveness. but that will not stop bad things from happening to you.it only forgives your past sins. you need to cotinue to walk in the faith even through life challenges.
