I was fine this morning by noon my eye was starting to swell and get very dry. within 2hour I have puss coming out of my eye on both sides.

The term "Stonewall Riots" meant nothing to me until today. I realized that I have received an education that has completely excluded a group of people from history.

I remember learning about civil rights and women's rights. I am just curious to see if it was just the small suburb I grew up in that led to this lack of education, or if gay rights has been left out of public school curriculum.

I noticed that last year a bill was being talked about in Sacramento dealing with the "portrayal" of sexual orientation, but it simply said that any negative portrayals would be removed from public school texts, but there didn't seem to be anything about gay rights being a mandatory part of the curriculum.

After some idle conversation she began talking about her religion, and trying to convert my daughter, can someone suggest a polite response to this sort of thing ? I think its wrong for people to be so zealous that they bug you in a store.I believe in a personal freedom to worship whatever faith you wish...but don't ram your choice down my throat

I was researching on my kissing gouramis the other day and found that on yo utube there was a video of a kissing gourami that is sorta hand tamed and follows the owners hand.
Is there a way of training this?

A gyroscope consists of a M=1.8 kg disk with a radius R=2cm mounted at the end of a light axle r=7cm. The gyro spins at f=50 rev/s. It is held horizontal at one end of its axle and precesses about its stand.

Helpful info:
Angular momentum of the disk about it's axle .113 kg*m^2/s

Torque about the point of support due to the weight of the gyro =1.23 Nm

The Question is: How long does it take the gyroscope to precess once around?

I know the precession rate is the torque divided by the component of angular momentum that is precessing. I cannot get the right answer. Please help!

Terrorism, Crime, Injustice... I think these are all caused by one same reason... The feeling of not being what he/she should be or have. Hunger (Greed of others) Freedom (Power over the powerless) Not Loved (Self Love), etc... The US is claiming to be the heroes of freedom and liberty by going to war against those who are afflicted by this reason. Isnt it better if they address the real problem, the root problem? They should spend more on saving lives and not on destroying (or what they call self-defense). What do you think?
