The Bible mentions of a great flood and great destruction world over. Could that have been a possibility as opposed to a meteroid being the suspected cause of the extinction of dinosaurs. Most of the fossils have been burried under mud, and something like a flood could have caused that to happen.

okay so me and my bf who i love to death are having unprotected sex. Its been a while that i haven't had my period. I admit that we have been trying to have a baby but we just can't. I get my period like every two months so its sort of hard to know when im ovulating. what should we do? Go to the doctor or just keep on trying. My friend recently began talking about my ex bf. We broke up back in october(he ended it)we've remained good friends, i've recently came to the relization that its never going to be and that i don't think i really want him back. I've started to go after this other guy i like now, and i know my ex is jelouse (we are all in the same theater group, so thats how we see each other). My ex is a big flirt and he flirted with my friend the last 2 rehersals. not a terribly great amout, but now i think shes starting to like him. (flirting for him doesnt' mean he likes the girl)I don't think i could handle seeing them together, he was my first bf and we went out for 6 monthes i was in love with him. She said she doesnt' knwo what she woudl do if he asked her out, she lieks this other guy a lot and he knows it. I know that my ex and my friends personalities dont' match, she admited it, but she says hes cute. I can't reallysay don't go out with him cause i'm going after the other guy what do i do

Many thanks to those who responded earlier but those answers were not quite addressing what I was looking for.

I am thinking of the case of a typical pole mounted single phase distribution xmfr with loads on both sides of the center tap. If the secondary of the transformer is center tapped and the other two leads from the secondary are going from positive to negative with the AC current, that means that the center tap is either more negative or more positive than either outside lead at any given time.

If at a given instant the top lead is positive, then the center tap is more negative than the top lead. The current should flow from the top lead to the center tap. However, isn't the center tap more positive than the bottom lead at that same instant? Wouldn't the current therefor flow out of it into the bottom lead? (assuming loads connected to both sides of the tap) Flowing inward from the top lead and outward to the bottom lead at the same time. How does that work?

I just found out I am pregnant for the fourth time. I have three girls, and we chose names for them that ended in double letters (ee, nn). I'd like to continue the tradition, if it's a girl, but I'm all out of unique names. I went on a nine month quest for inspiration to find unique names for my first three, and if you could please help me, I would SO appreciate it. I don't have quite the time or energy I had then. (So ironic, how your brain goes on the fritz at the same time you're supposed to be deciding what everyone's going to call your child for the rest of its life.)

I know what we're going to name it if it's a boy, by the way; I only need help with a girl's name. THANK YOU!!!

I just checked my mail and an insulting letter came in mail today. They talk about our lawn being unkept (it's not) a broken down car in our driveway (it's been there since Februrary) and how our house is a monstrosity to the neighborhood.

We didn't build this house. It was added on to by the man we're renting from three years ago. Instead of the standard 3 bdrms it has 6 so you can see how its an oddity in the neighborhood. We've been living here for a year.

What can we do about the letter? It was sent anonomously through the mail with no return address. Can the police get involved?
