So many people make false statements about Islam w/out trying to learn even the basics of this religion. In todays modern world with information at our very fingertips there really isnt any excuse to be so ignorent. Do you really think Bush is a christian? Then you havent read the bible. Wasnt it jesus who said "revenge is mine" ? or how about " Him without sin may cast the first stone"? "Judge not less yee be judged"and truly my favorite "There is none so blind as he who refuses to see"

Over the last few days, I have read a number of questions which spoke about how people who smoke are uneduated, ignorant, have no manners ect.

What I want to know is what do non smokers get out of slagging off people who do smoke? Ok, you choose not to smoke, fair enough good decision, but what is the need for all this bad feeling?

Why can't you just back off? We smokers put up with your rude comments, your bad attitudes, and your abuse, why can't you just leave it alone? Its got nothing to do with you why we smoke and what it does to our health

I think there are a lot of broad leaf weeds like, clover, dandelions, henbit, and some other stuff, there are some pics of some below. The rest is a mixture of fescue in shaded areas and bermuda grass in sunny areas.

(btw, what is that type of weed in pic below called?)

i was thinking maybe either pre emergent now to prevent crabgrass , however, i am thinking maybe i will just skip that in order that i may seed and fertilize and try to get the grass growing stronger , than come back and apply a post emergent herbicide to ALL the weeds, broadleaf and crabgrass , etc.

The stuff in the linked website is a classic example of right wing christians twisting the words of their little book to suit their own ends.

To tell followers of a religion that is supposedly based on the life of someone who tried telling people to be nice to each other that they have an obligation to kill is obscene and dangerous.

The part that I read before being too sickened to go further related to "an obligation to kill murderers" being more important than the idea of "turn the other cheek".

Aside from the pure evil of this, does it not become the thin edge of the wedge?

Given enough political clout, would these guys start killing heretics?

For the sake of my children's future, I want to do what I can to stop the spread of this filfth.

Is it not dangerous and immoral?

now dont get me wrong, i find nothing wrong with gay people having meaningful loving relationships, i see them as normal people like everyone else, im fine with them spending their lives together yada yada BUT marriage is a religious ceremony, therefore they shouldnt be allowed to do it, marriage is the bringing together of a male and female infront of god. it was the rules created by the church so if they want "marriage" another name is going to have to be given to it.....i know its bad but god is heavily against gay people so why would gay people want to be binded together by a religious ceremony? i think the government is too involved with the (heavily christian) religion. if youd like to see some examples of gods stance on religion ust take a look at Leviticus, if you still think its not, im happy to give examples. there needs to be a seperaton between "marriage" and the "rights that are given to people that are married" if you get what i mean

Iraq how long they have to be ready to take over their own security issues. We cannot give Iraq an endless ride on the "we will protect you" train. So far their efforts have been rather thin but what motivation do they have considering we are saying there is no end to our commitment to defend your country?

I tried quorn, and I am not impressed. They are smaller portions, less breading, less herbs and spices to flavor....quorn tastes sort of like protein cardboard to me...at least the "fish" ones do?
