they try to get my attention with one head light or a distinctive brake light or a nearby siren goes off no matter where im working at. they try to intimidate me one way or another. what are they insinuating to me

been seperaterd a few months from my wife at her insistence.off and on things have been bad/good.things have been good recently.had my 2 kids away for the weekend last week.
anyway got a call from her at 3am thus morn telling me how she didn't want to be horrible to me and started playing our first song at our wedding down the phone and asked me to go up to hers.i said i could'nt but went up in morning and took my kids to school and nursery and kept them til late evening.
on fri night she takes home a guy she works with and obviously he spends the night.
as you might guess my head is spinning with emotions and don't know where the hell my ex is coming from i have decided to do all i can to blank her out my life but it is difficult with the kids.

it is using elimination using addition and subtraction

x-y=1
x+y=3

so the ys cancel out making it 2x=4 then divide both sides by 2 and x=2 now i have to plug it into the next equasion and thats where i need help i you could please do it step by step like above thanks guys!

say for example a little child of opposite sex gives you something to an adult, would this imply that the child wants a "serious" relationship? now taking taking that perception into consideration.....

when i told a girl i know from work i got her a chinese new year gift when i was oversea's as a friendly gesture, she told me she already has a partner? i told her it was a new years gift not a valentines day gift so im not sure where the partner thing came from. she has not replied back.

if i was a child would she say that, not likely because a serious relationship is not in her mind of thought.

was i a "potential partner" to her at some stage for her to even have the thought of a "serious" relationship?
