In the words of Will Smith...

Oh, hell no!

The Border Patrol should be our finest resource in ending the flood of illegal intrusions. Yet, the best we can muster from the Federal government is lip service and barely adequate funding.

If any front needs a surge, let it be along our Southern border. If nothing else, a large influx of newly trained Border Patrol officers to fill the gaps would be an improvement.

Oh, and rather than waste money on building a fence system that isn't going to stop anyone anytime soon, do some research on other means of keeping people where they belong rather than making our menial labor look appealing.

I think Bush has done a decent job, but Congress turns its back on immigration. It was a fact in World War 2, Germany and Japan had people as " sleeper agents" in this country for about 8 years before the war broke out.

One other thing, at least four plots that we "know of" have been foiled since 911. Unless and until we get a handle on our borders, we will always be at risk. We must be vigilant and push your elected officials into action , instead of sitting on the sidelines trying to ignore the problem.

No. The current status of our borders indicates to me that the threat is very real. Why does just the southern border matter, what about the northern one?
